What may be the problem.** A: There will be a small gap, but I assume your satying it is bigger than when the replaced struts were in. Make sure the black bracket has the correct side down. Also check that the ball is all the ay inside the strut at the top. Only other thing is make sure the strut is the correct one for the year of your Z car. Good luck. **Q: What size are the ball studs?** A: Not sure but these didn’t work well on my 2002 350z. **Q: does it have keeper pins?** A: Not sure if you’re referring to E clips or cotter type pins. No keeper pins. But it includes the ball ends to replace the factory ones. They were quick and easy to install with a few basic tools. **Q: Hello, I want to know why my trunk can't be closed completely after installation. There is a gap. Can anyone give me some installation advice?** A: Sounds like you may have received the wrong set. Take the new ones and old ones. Compress both all the way. They should be the Sam if the new ones are longer that’s why it won’t close completely.
