I purchased these for an MP3 player (AGPtek A20) to use instead of the uncomfortable set that came with it. The player turns off the back-light after 20 seconds or so, at which point it seems to go into a sort of "semi-sleep" mode. You can still listen but can't adjust anything without powering it back up, unless you have the inline control. So my comments here relate to how I found these earbuds work with this particular player. The volume feature works well. The pause/play will only work when the back-light is on. The "mic" feature isn't relevant in this case. (See "edit" below for next/previous feature.) The sound is better than you would expect for the price. The cord is flat, not round & fairly long- in excess of 4 feet. They're supposed to come with 3 sets of tips - one pair each of S, M, L (although mine had a fourth set inside the little carrying bag). They also have a small shirt clip, but I can't anything about it as I haven't used it. They seem well made & sturdy enough although I haven't used them during anything strenuous. I plugged them into the laptop just to experiment- none of the inline features worked there, but as this is meant to be used with a phone, that wasn't really a surprise. I'm extremely satisfied with them so far.Edited to add- the next track/previous track feature doesn't seem to work well with the AGPtek A20 player. I also plugged these into my Sony Walkman NWZ series player & none of the inline functions work. They still work as earbuds though & I'd recommend them based on the quality of the sound & the moderate price!Another thing to be aware of is they're not a good choice for sleeping in- at least not for side sleepers. Even with the smallest tips, they stick too far out of the ear canal to be comfortable. The comfort level is fine otherwise.

I have quite a few pairs of headphones and iems including Tin Audio T2's, T2 Pro, P1 and T4, but wanted something I could forget on my desk without having to worry about someone with sticky fingers walking off with them. These came up on a lightning deal at 9 bucks so I thought I'd give them a try. Build quality is average to maybe a bit above average. The flat cable will probably be polarizing. I don't mind it. The cable is not removable so you're not going to get aftermarket cables for these. Meh, it's fine. At least it's very flexible so it doesn't retain kinks or anything. BUT, for 9 or even the normal 13 bucks, they are very impressive.No obvious peaks or valleys. They have a slight bass emphasis but it's not bloaty or at the expense of mids. The bass is not the fastest in the world but it's not sloppy either. The bass in songs like Celestial Echo by Malia sounds really enjoyable. They're not the most detailed earbuds in the world but they don't sound horribly veiled or grainy. The treble isn't super hot, but it's not super recessed (maybe a little but not enough to sound veiled).This is the goldilocks of budget earbuds. It's just right. Betron managed to create a very very nice sounding, musical set of earbuds. Very very enjoyable. And at such a great price! Well done.

Betron DC950HI EarphonesOver the past 40+ years I have owned a variety of earphones/plugs. Some expensive. Some cheap. The quality and durability of most have been about the same. They might last 1-2 years with regular wear and tear. Longer if extra careful. But I have found several features that I now regularly watch out for [Comments for these Betron earphones]:- Longer chord length than typical [These earphones were a couple of inches longer than most and fit my needs]- Symmetrical earplugs so I don't have to needlessly search/feel in the dark for which plug goes in which ear [These plugs are symmetrical and fit my ears well. However, they do distinguish between left and right for use with video or other needs].- Volume control [Yes, a nice added feature]- Spare or multi-sized rubber earbuds [Yes]- Reasonable price for their anticipated longevity [Very reasonable]- Made in USA [Almost all lower cost electronics are now from overseas like these leaving few American options. But I still check.]These earphones met most of my preferences. Additionally, they have a good bass that helps to deliver a quality sound (versus the simple, tin-like sounds of cheaper earphones).I have purchased 2 sets of these in the last 4 months to replace older earphones. The reason for only 4 stars is that with the latest received set, the plastic connection between the earplug and the cable connection part kept separating even with the most gentle handling. I applied a couple of small drops of superglue to solve this problem before any wire separation occurred. So far they are holding up well. Looking forward to buying a third set soon.

On ne fait plus rien de durable dans le marché des écouteurs, c'est gavant.Le son est correct, ça manque peut-être un peu d'aigu. Beaucoup de fabriquants privilégient les basses parce-que ça "plaît" de se faire bombarder les oreilles.Mais la plupart des audiophiles vous diront que la majeure partie du son est gâchée par les basses, et c'est vrai. Les aigus sont délaissés.Dommage.

I usually buy a little cheaper headphones because they tend to break at my industrial job. Many cheaper headphones have a lot of sub-bass but distortion in the kick which is very sad when listening to electronic music. I was very surprised by these headphones which had a lot of power in both the kick and the sub.bass, as well as a balanced sound. I am often surprised how good they really sound!

Use 9n my Samsung tablet and Samsung s10+ phone for movies and music. They work amazing.
