Why not? Well, unless she gets all the character references, it's not a whole lot different from playing Uno. Yes, there are some twists that Uno doesn't include, but that wasn't reason enough to buy it--at least as far as I was concerned. What WAS reason enough to buy it was my granddaughter's positive obsession with Stranger Things. (She's 11). She enjoyed playing it and enjoys simply OWNING the game because of its themed aspect. Her (and my) favorite part was the little toaster it comes packaged with. Bottom line: Price was not prohibitive. The game concept was not new, but the packaging was.
