You get what you pay for
So the Alarm arrived in a timely manner. That is good.It does not include the siren or the plug in charger. (It does have the cable)Setting up the components is pretty easy once you get the WiFi working.WILL NOT WORK ON 5G WIFI this took me a while to figure out since my Comcast WiFi is supposed to support both 2.4 G and 5G, but it seems to be 5G. The app for IOS (iphone) is not that refined and the warning was showing up, but not as an error, it looked like a caution to be sure you are not using 5G.So once I got a 2.4 Wifi router connected to the network , I was able to connect the App to the Alarm Host(as they call it)Next challenge was to get the sim card working. Not much guidance on this, so I went to Best Buy and purchased an AT&T Prepaid sim card and $10 reload card.Quickly found out that I needed an imei # from the device.I looked at the device and all the info that came with it but could not find it.Emailed support, they sent back a canned response that said inserting the card activates it with the imei number, but still no help on where to find the IMEI number.Other emails to support on this just got a response with the new App, No Help.So I did a search and found that the IMEI number is on the GSM chip of the device if it can't be found anywhere else.I then proceeded to dis assemble the device to find it. Don't worry you won't have to do this, keep reading.I am not sure if the IMEI number gets populated when you insert the sim card because of the sequence I did things, but After finding it on the GSM chip , I found an "about" button on the alarm menu and the IMEI number there, but I don't think it was there before I inserted the sim card.So after finding the IMEI number I was able to go the AT&T prepaid website and set up an account. The website address is on the sim card holder that comes with the simcard. There is also a ID number that you need to fill in. Once you submit, you can then proceed to set up a new account and AT&T will activate the card and assign a phone number based on the zip code you enter. Then you can log into your account (email they send will have info) and add Data to the card, with prepaid card or Credit Card. These instructions are for USA. I apologize to others in the rest of the world, but sim card procedures can be searched online and details should be pretty close to the instructions provided. One caveat that the support at DiGoo does offer is that the sim card will not be accepted with a pin on it and to remove the pin you need to insert it into a phone or tablet and remove the pin. I did not have this issue as my sim card did not have a pin.Testing the sim worked pretty well, but the app is not very good at instructions or help. But with a little perseverence you can figure it out. But when testing be aware that the data is about 20 cents per text transmission. So my testing quickly ate up my $10 balance. No error returned when data exceeded, just no response at all from text, But making a phone call from the alarm to my phone, infromed me that There was no credit and to go to AT&T to reload, which I did and everything works again. So in summary, for the price, this is a great device, but the sim card and wifi instructions could be better. There are some youtube videos that help as well. Maybe I'll make one...One other note, the wifi feature seems to only work when on the same network as the Alarm, so remote programming does not seem to work using WiFi but does work using SMS. For example the format to remotely arm the alarm is to send a text to the phone number of the alarm with password and #3 so if you have not changed the default password it would be 6666#3 to Disarm would be 6666#2 These are not in the manual, but when you use the app, you will see the text format.I hope this helps anyone who has purchased this alarm and is in need of support. I would only recommend this device to anyone who has some technical experience or a lot of patience and strong "Google Skills"Peace

DO NOT BUY!
DO NOT BUY!!! The interface is very glitchy and set up is a bit difficult. Just spend the little extra and get an alarm from a dependable brand. This is not worth the money.

dead app! don't waste your money here!
Unfortunately, the cloud service behind that process does respond anymore, and you will be greeted with "Network connection error detected" for any sing-up attempt. From the Digoo forum (where customer do their own tech. support), the problem started in 2019 and Digoo is aware of this with no intention to fix it! (they even serve the same answer template to all customers, see below)Better still, they keep selling it, despite the dead app!

No Product Support
The alarm system worked initially, however, it stopped working and will not reconnect to the app. I have sent emails to the company (digoo) and they are not responding. There are several other owners of this same alarm from Digoo and report not response or support. The system worked great when it was connected to the app but support for the product if something so wrong is horrible.

To me a local alarm with a loud siren and neighbors who are more than wiling to respond was better than police showing up 45 minutes after an intrusion
I bought this security system after a my house was burglarized. I didn't want some company’s system with their outrageous monthly fees. To me a local alarm with a loud siren and neighbors who are more than wiling to respond was better than police showing up 45 minutes after an intrusion. Love how it gives me Peace of mind at all times. A feeling that is priceless. My family feels more protected. Display screen is a good size. Worth every dollar. The system was simple to install and is simple to use. So far everything is working great.

Some items came broken
Worst system ever would not buy. Some of the items came broken and no matter what the alarm sensors would go off for no reason.

It works, really well surprisingly...
Once you get past the confusion of the written instructions due to the obvious language differences it's not a bad piece of equipment...

Very easy to install
It uses your existing wifi to connect to the internet and send you alarm notifications by text message, push notifications, or voice phone calls. Very easy to install. An inexpensive way to give you a sense of security in your home. Compact and can be installed almost anywhere. Pretty good value for your money!

Still working on getting it connect
Well packed and looks like well made. simple instructions and although I had set my wifi up for 433/2.4 G communication, I could not get it to work. Still working on my problem. I believe it will work and when it does it will be good
