Can this be used for sugar lace? Thanks** A: It depends on what you mean by sugar lace! If you mean can you push this into a lace mould and will it hold it's shape better than sugarpaste in a deep mould then yes, as it is flower paste. It is an expensive way to doing it. If it is going on the side of the cake for someone to eat I would use sugarpaste as this will dry hard like a stick of rock. Alternatively you could mix this with some sugarpaste or add Tylos/CMC to your sugarpaste to firm it up. However it is not cake lace that is a liquid/paste that you spread on to a lace mate with a pallet knife, dry and then peel away from the mat to apply to your cake or model etc. I hope that helps. **Q: On average, how much of this paste would you used to make one large flower?
