Review: Bought as a gift - The wand was bought as a birthday gift for a little girl who loves Harry Potter. She was very excited to receive her wand and her mother said she loved it. As such I would totally recommend the toy. I haven't actually seen the wand myself yet, so I can't comment on the durability. Educational value has to be 5 out of 5 as it encourages the imagination so much. We paid for next day delivery to ensure delivery on time. I was shocked at the price of it, and not amused when I received a text the next day to let me know the gift would be delivered during the school run, so the little girl's mother would not be at home. However, the delivery company left it with the next door neighbour which is a relief as the gift was there on the birthday. However, a subsequent text/card to let us know would have been an improvement, as the neighbour was out that evening so gift was not delivered until the next morning.

The box is very pretty and although it doesn't have a tag with the name of the character on it, it didn't bother me. The tag that comes inside the box says "product inspired by the world of Harry Potter", so it seems like it's a "licensed copy" of the original but not the original itself. Since the quality is just as good I didn't mind that though.

**Q: how big is the box**
A: I don't remember the exact dimensions but like a narrow tie box? Maybe  3 inches wide by about 13 inches long and abp. an inch deep. For what it is worth the wand is VERY cool! Hefty, nice "carvings". My granddaughter LOVED it!

**Q: does it have unicorn hair dragon heart string ect**
A: I didn't break it open, but my guess would be no

**Q: Does this wand "work at the park"?  In hp world there is an activity where u can walk around and cast spells.**
A: No it doesn’t work for the spells at the park. Those wands are much more expensive and you have to buy them from the Wizarding world parks. I do believe you can order them online but I don’t know where.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great gift

Really solid, doesn't seem as fragle as i thought it would feel, very heavy object (for it's dimensions), feels like holding an iron 30cm thin bar. The finishing is very convincent, the person that received it as a gift was even doubtful of it doesn't being wood, but the tip of the wand denounced it (although you will never really look at that point...). The Warner mark on the wand is also not as visible as I thought. The box is beautiful, but the fabric that came with it had a thread shredded (only one). Shipment was perfect, fast, the seller is one of the most helpful I've ever had contact with, if not the most. No damage to the product in this process, also.
