INTEY Ultra-Clear Portable Astronomy Telescope Adjustable Tripod(45cm-90cm) with Rucksack

I’ve been wanting a telescope for a while. Not only for the night sky but for watching wild life also, and this suits both. I bought this as I didn’t want to pay a lot of money for one as I don’t take the care with things as I really should. Not expecting the best form this piece of kit, I was very pleasantly surprised. This was a good choice and a great tool to have. The telescope is easy to set up, even with out the instructions it’s very intuitive. For such a light piece of apparatus it is very sturdy. The tripod has fully adjustable legs, which is great on uneven surfaces. The image quality is very good without any distortion. I do like the adjustable eye-piece so you don’t need to crick your neck trying to observe things, especially when you’re sitting down. Supplied with two interchangeable 6mm and 25mm eye-pieces for different uses too. All this complete with its own back pack for easy transportation. My grandson has taken to looking at the stars, so I think he’ll be getting one for his up and coming birthday. All in all, a great piece of kit which will bring many hours of observational enjoyment.

For looking at the night sky as a beginner this is a really great telescope. I have never previously owned a telescope, but remember using one briefly at school, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect.When I was unboxing the Intey F40070M, I found the telescope, a sturdy tripod and attachments, all packed neatly in to a rucksack for protection and easy transportation. The manual is easy to follow, so set up takes no time and you can be moon-gazing in an instant! I immediately warmed to the build quality in conjunction with the price.This is an unfussy, apparently durable and solid, piece of a equipment that is safe and fun for all the family to use, I recommend it.I have really enjoyed having this item and I would recommend it as a great and interesting addition to any family home.

After trying it I have to say that it really is very good, since it is very bright. The opening of 70mm gives a lot of play in relation to those 400mm. It offers a very sharp and very correct image and it shows the moon quite well and the planets. It comes with a tripod with which you can adjust height, it is a light tripod but it fulfills its function. If you are tall, the maximum height will be something fair but good. Includes 2 eyepieces: 1 eye of 10mm and another of 25mm that are very good to start. This telescope comes with a very useful backpack where you can store it, it does not take up much space and in my opinion it is the perfect telescope for initiation due to its small size and because it is really useful to be able to see something in the sky and hang out.

I had always wanted a telescope the stars really interest me, I know quite a few and wanted to locate them myself. So after a while of looking I finally got one and I'm glad I did it's so good I can see the moon so close with my telescope. My 3 year old loves it soon as it starts going dark she wants to get it out to look at the moon which you can see perfectly. I'm only a novice I'm not and expert but I think it's a great bit of kit for what I wanted, and comes with a really nice bag to put it in to I definitely recommend it

I ordered this to as my daughter was showing in an interest in astronomy after a school project but I didn’t want to spend too much just in case the interest didn’t last too long.Firstly for the price the telescope is very sturdy and does not feel flimsy or cheap, it also comes well packaged in its own backpack.Putting this together was a bit more challenging than I was expecting and in my view the instructions could be a little better, having said that it was put together in around 20 minutes or soDue to the weather we haven’t had many chances to view the night sky, but when we did we were impressed by the level of detail we could see.However as this is our first telescope I can’t really compare it to other brands but we are happy with the purchase

Very poor quality. Telescope wobbles about on tripod. Impossible to maintain focus which renders this telescope unusable. I would challenge other reviewers who say this is a good item. The materials are cheap and the parts poorly fit together. This so called telescope is like a child’s toy which does not live up to expectations. It is a poorly made and non functional excuse for a telescope that will actually greatly disappoint any young potential astronomers. You get what you pay for and this product is a typical example that will end up in the bin. I had to send it back for a full refund. Do your self a favour, if you want a good telescope you will need to spend at least £150 -£250

I bought this or my son as i wanted to see if he would use this before spending a lot of money. Comes with a very handy rucksack which will make it easy to take camping.. This was very easy to set up, we were using this within 10 minutes of opening box. . As far as i can tell this has the performance of telescopes costing much more. A great starting point for anyone wanting o get into Astronomy.
