**Q: is there any kind of instructions in the package? Would a novice who never changed strings be able to use it?**
A: Hi there,Thanks for your query.This is super simple to use.You have the peg winder on one end, you just pop this over the tuning peg and crank it round and this loosens/tightens the strings much quicker than your hand can.On the other end you have the string cutter, this side works like a pair of pliers which I am sure you can operate :)Lastly, the little cutaway you can see on one arm is used to remove bridge pins on acoustic guitars, you just prise them gently away with this, see link:http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/81ZNnZ5cy%2BL._SL1500_.jpgIt really is a must have for guitar restringing.Let me know if you have any further queries.Kind Regards,Rachel LongstoneSales & Customer CareRich Tone Music

**Q: The packaging mentions bass. Does it also work on electric guitars?**
A: fits really tight, works perfect on electric guitars. this is unlike the cheaper plastic ones. Even the string clipper works a treat.

**Q: How good is the bridge pin puller? I don't want to make any kind if indentation/scratches etc on my bridge.**
A: I don't think the bridge pin puller is very good. I couldn't use it with any of my guitars. In my opinion it's best to find another make for that. The other things on it are ok though.

**Q: How does this do when cutting low guage strings? Ive got a 0.68 on my 7 string lowest string**
A: I’ve used these for cutting bass strings, so you should have no issue with a 7-string.
