I would guess that that is normal as it needs to rotate freely inside the outer sheath. they could change the design slightly so that it doesn't just fall out so easily but it doesn't affect the performance at all. **Q: Compatible with rotacraft rc250?** A: Afraid I won't be able to answer for certain as I'm not familiar with the Rotorcraft tool. To fit the Flexible Shaft to a Dremel you need to unscrew the collets and nose cap, screw on the Flexible Shaft drive directly onto the collet thread, then the Flexible Shaft body screws directly onto the tool where the nose cap had bee. If you can do this with the Rotorcraft then it will work, although please keep in mind the Flexible Shaft was optimised to work with Dremel tools so we also can't guarantee the performance on another's tool.
