They actually seem to stick without any medium the flat side down !** A: Flat side down and press them quite firmly..... These are well packaged, look amazing in the pack! Many people seem to have had trouble getting them out of the mould, I used a paperclip...inserted into the middle and simply gently lifted them out - do it slowly and they come out great! Used as a little accent at the base of a diamond ribbon, these edible gems were the thing that people commented on most!
