We bought this as we have just redecorated the kitchen and wanted a coffee machine that was a wee bit quirky. We have had a Tassimo for years and find the drinks really watery and never ever hot enough, even when we pre heat the cups with boiling water.We were really pleased with the quality and temperature of the drinks the Dolce Gusto makes and even more pleased with the £50 Web Credit we received when we purchased this model.It is super easy to keep clean compared to the Tassimo as you don't need to dismantle it or do a flush through when changing from coffee to hot chocolate.Guests to the house love a fancy coffee and it is so quick and easy to make them one.

I'm not really a hot drinks type of person and purchased this for my daughter who loves coffee/latte. However, I do like the odd hot chocolate and this has revolutionized that for me. I now look forward to going home and sitting down with my chocochino with a fluffy top. Easy to use, the drinks taste amazing and as it is automatic you don't need to worry about water levels. Just pop a pod into the machine and press hot or cold and you're good to go. If you are in doubt as I was about purchasing it, make that decision and go for it, it will be useful and not just gathering dust in a cupboard!!

The machine is a piece of art. I read most of the reviews and was ready for it will drip but it doesn't and just works and looks great. So easy to use and clean.No problems so far.The only thing there were no gift capsules as promised but I bought some in advance, so it wasn't a real issue. Also it took me a while to figure out how to remove a water tank so it can be nice if the manufacturer will provide better manual about this specific part.Generally, very happy with the purchase and do recommend.

My old model died so I was forced into buying an updated version - the Eclipse Touch. It makes all the drinks I have as before and there's no loss or update in quality. Things I like particularly: capsule ejection and drain after use; continuity if water runs out so that when you refill the water container, the appliance will continue to make the drink from where it left off; fun to watch for younger users. Things I don't like: small water container so you need to refill it frequently; tight water container fit which is difficult to extract to refill with older hands; super sonic noise and design which are over-thought.

Been using this for about 16 months now and ITS GREAT! ABSOLUTELY GREAT!We drink more hot chocolates and coffee than ever before and the novelty still hasnt wore off. Now COVID has taken over we spend more time at home than ever and can still enjoy a fancy coffee in the morning so its a blessing really.It makes fantastic drinks is SUPER easy to clean and works just so so well.Stop reading my review and just GO BUY ONE!!!!

Once we'd got the machine bled of air ( which took us abour 30 mins of messing about and googling ) it works a treat. I dont know if this was our error or just poor instructions.I like it as you can adjust the strength and it doesn't look like a coffee machine...it's something different

Bought this as a Christmas present for my partner. Easy to use and quick at dispensing coffee. Only down side is that it automatically turns out (the dispensing part) but you then have to manually push it back. Doesn’t effect the purpose of the machine but would have been a nice touch if fully automatic.

This works out really expensive, as for a latte you have to put a coffee pod in then another milk pod in, which is £2 a pod so the coffee will work out at £4 for a latte. An espresso about £2. I would rather just go to the coffee shop and sit in their warmth use their wi-fi, and let them have the hassle of cleaning the cups and supplying the sugar, and tissues. This machine dribbles and need to be descaled so often all in all it is a real hassle. If your a coffee head it may appeal. But personally I would rather sit at home with a home with a beer or malt.
