This is an excellent free standing tri-gate. For the price it is great quality and is our 2nd purchase so now we have 2 of these. It is very light and a bit flimsy so is NOT suitable for boisterous dogs or dogs not afraid to jump over/move things. For our dog (a small cocker spaniel) this tri-gate is like an intense force as he doesn't get past it.. he just sits there behind it, hence why we have bought 2. We had our original one to stop him trying to nibble the cats foot whenever they used the cat flap but it also means the cats can freely move around. I leave a small gap just big enough for them to squeeze through or they can jump over and join us for cuddles (he's fine with them every other time, it's just the cat flap!!).We use the 2nd gate to "pen him in" the corner in our bedroom for when we sleep which works perfectly.A perfect cheap free-standing gate and for cornering animals. Will be perfect for small dogs, nervous dogs (i.e. Not boisterous) orplacid dogs. Big boisterous dogs WILL knock it over.

This is not a particularly sturdy bit of kit and I imagine the profit for the manufacturer is a large part of the price, but ...If you are like me and not particularly handy (or interested!) then, you too might find this to be just what you need.We bought this to isolate our dogs away from the furniture in our static caravan (particularly after a wet walk), but because it is free standing we have ended up using it to prevent them from getting out when the door is left open (when we need a breeze) and to bar access to the bedrooms (if we want the doors open for whatever reason)The point is that we have found this much more useful than a single fixed gate.Of course, if your dogs don't respect this kind of barrier (i.e. they just push it over) then you'll probably need a fixed gate, but we have found this to be more useful than we had originally expected.

A simple, well-made, freestanding dog gate. Being freestanding you can't guarantee to contain a really determined dog but it works well at keeping my two confined to certain parts of an open-plan house layout when needed. Very light to carry to move around the house as needed and excellent value compared to others listed.

Very disappointed!The wood is extremely light and painted which is NOT appropriate for a pet gate as the paint easily flakes off and could potentially be ingested. The screws holding it together are not threaded properly and fall out easily without have to turn the screw at all (also a choking hazard) and after only 2 days with a 9week old pup, some of the wood where the screws were placed in the hinges has completely split and come away. I have now had to tie the panels together with some string to stop it from falling apart. I am now having to shop for another gate to replace this mistake..I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with pets as this is just not suitable at all. I am very unhappy and considering the price I would have expected much better!

I needed a gate as a visual barrier for my dog which I could easily take up & down without damaging paintwork. This fits the bill but is quite low & most breeds would be able to jump it, if so inclined. Also dogs can move the gate with their head if you don't secure it to something. It works well for my elderly, well behaved dog to block off stairs, but if you have a more energetic, naughty dog I would suggest a metal dog gate. Quite expensive for a bit of wood really, but does the job for me.

I purchased this before I bought my new puppy home so that my cat could have a room to herself throughout the day and to keep him out of her litter at night, but it is very flimsy. One third fell off within the first week and after a month or so the last two sections came apart and I couldn't get the screws to stay in - which is a bit of a hazard as they roll away, and they're very tiny so they're easy to lose. It's not important that it looks nice so I ended up using elastic bands to form a makeshift hinge and keep it together but the wood has now started to flake and overall just feels unpleasant. It's a great idea in theory but this one in particular isn't the best quality.

Our new puppy (miniature cavapoo) could slip between the bars for the first few weeks, but after that it was really useful for temporarily blocking off areas. Looks really great. Puppy too old to need it now, but can’t bring myself to get rid of it, it’s such good quality.

Bought this when I was having my hall, landing and stairs decorated and needed to keep my 3 little dogs away from all those painted doors. I could easily move it around as it is so light and I used a door stop at either end to hold in place. They were happy that they could still see through it and watch what was going on. I now have it across the bottom of the stairs to stop them going up during the day.I see that it is out of stock at the moment. If it comes back in, I will definitely buy another one.

So weak that a breeze blew them over and the little cheap nuts at the joints just kind of came out. Then I couldn’t give them away.

Il materiale mi è arrivato puntuale con la data di consegna, uniche pecche: la qualità del materiale non del migliore (il cancelletto aveva delle crepe nel legno e non è rifinito per il meglio) poi delle ammaccature presumo dovute al trasporto. Per il resto è un buon articolo, molto versatile e comodo. lo consiglio!!!
