You have to do the sizing and fitting as I did on my Passat Estate tailgate sill. But you get a very long roll of rubber - more than twice as long as I needed. So, plenty to add extra width where needed or to use elsewhere on the car. One word of warning - the rubber shrinks a few mm after the initial fitting, so allow for that. Look like they were factory fitted. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It’s ok to prevent scratches *by J***H on 9 August 2020* It’s fine, I bought it as a protective strip for my bumper but I think a tailored or curved piece would be better suited as you would have to add multiple strips or leave A lot not covered, but I used it to run strips down the door frame so will be good to prevent scratches there. It’s very easy to cut, easy to fit and very adhesive ### ⭐⭐⭐ AN OK SOLUTION *by H***N on 29 December 2014* This is somewhat more difficult to apply correctly that at first meets the eye. The problem is not with the product but with the type of bumper to which it is applied. Rear bumpers are not quite as flat as shown on the picture, so that you will probably encounter curves and forms that are none too easy to cut perfectly to shape. For that reason it is a bit tricky to adapt to curves and stick down without wrinkles. Particularly vulnerable and difficult to cover is the leading edge. That said, I found that it had plenty of adhesion, and managed to get a passable job done. The tape is not all that thick, so I don't know how much wear it will take over the longer term, and whether the leading edge will stay stuck.
