Omron MicroAIR NE-U22-E Pocket Nebuliser

Having struggled with brittle asthma for 27 years and a life revolving around ensuring a nebuliser is nearby or limiting where I go because of time etc this is an absolute god send! It's neat and small, completely silent which is fantastic! No more interrupting anyone watching tv with the sound of a nebuliser or waking them at night.It took a couple of goes for it to work all through the medication in the chamber without cutting out but that's down to the angle you hold it at , and I can now get through a vial of atrovent and ventolin together with no issues.It does take longer but not too long.I love that it just fits inside a neat little bag which I pop into my handbag and it's not heavy. Using it looks a little ( ironically ) like I'm using a vapour thing, so with people using them so frequently now no one takes any notice of this.I tend to not make any social arrangements or confirm till the day because I don't know how I'll feel and if I can be away from my nebuliser for too long, I'm feeling a lot more confident about going out with this in my bag. Although tempted to buy a back one to keep in the car.Shame it isn't a USB chargeable version to use in the car or to charge instead of batteries but have popped spare batteries in the little case just in case.Highly recommend it!

I would have awarded this compact little unit 5 stars but for two things. One, I have had the unit for just under two weeks now, and already the inner part of the mesh cap containing the metallic mesh in the flexible plastic diaphragm has fallen out of the mesh housing twice, even though I take great care in removing it as per instructions. Thus I am worried that this component may need replacing sooner rather than later, and at a price of around £45 it is definitely not cheap! I think it's rather naughty of Omron to charge such a high price for such a small part of the unit. The other (minor concern) is the battery cover which sometimes detaches, spilling the batteries with only a minor shake of the unit.Apart from those two problems, I find it a great nebuliser for inhaling my colloidal silver, which has proved immensely valuable to my health and well-being.UPDATE: Having been using this compact little unit for some weeks now, I have revised my star rating to five. The mesh/disphragm assembly seems to be holding up well and I have developed a technique to prevent the diaphragm from separating while using my thumb to remove the assembly. The unit itself seems quite sturdy so I now use more force to close the battery compartment lid and it stays put OK.

I really thought this portable nebuliser would be the answer. I would be able to go out and not worry about a mains supply. I have COPD and need to take a nebulised drug every four hours during the dayNo chance with the microair U22. Perhaps I have been unlucky. I purchased the first one and tried it soon after delivery. It seemed to work fine. This was it. I would go fishing. Beautiful day.Stone me ##### No fish. Then for my lunchtime nebuliser. The machine worked for about thirty seconds and packed up. I tapped it on the landing mat and it started. Unfortunately I could not get it to my lips in time, as it stopped again. I was like a yo yo up and down. I tried changing the batteries. No joy ##### What a day. So off home.I immediately contacted Amazon and they were brilliant. I thought that I had got a faulty nebuliser and so requested another one. Free postage and next day courier pickup. The replacement arrived very quickly. Excellent.I did not even unpack the new one for a couple of days. Then the sun came out, unusual for this part of the world.So my wife and I jumped into the car and off to the beach. I had unpacked the U22 and we took it with us.It has a very neat little carry case with plenty of room for the nebules and yet it is small and light enough to go onto your belt if you wish. It has belt loops.Time for the nebuliser. Out it came and worked perfectly for all of two minutes. Then it gave up and has not worked since. Not even if I tap it.In fairness I have to say that when it did work the U22 nebulised very well. If it had proved reliable I would have been so pleased to keep it. But I have sadly given up and again sent it back to Amazon. This time for a refund.However as I said perhaps I was unlucky.

For years, I have been burdened with a portable machine that weighs 12 lbs. and it only delivers 2 - 3 doses. I had to carry it very where including Spain where I spent my holidays last year. can you imagine being in a bathing suit carrying a big heavy bag. In London I was mugged because they thought my machine was an expensive camera. Now I can even slip this new Omron in my pocket and no one the wiser.On the bad side. Sometimes, when the medicine is low inside the machine, the vapor seizes to flow, giving me the sensation that it was empty, I leave it for a short while and when I operate it again the vapor begins to come out of it again.Is this some kind of a flaw?

Superb travel Nebuliser which comes with everything you need.Very well put together and very easy to use - it's so easy as there are Youtube videos showing you - so I didn't bother with the manual as I'd watched the video while awaiting delivery!I showed my dad and he understood straight away as it's easy.I did read the manual later and it's very well laid out and explained and very easy to follow.To be honest all it takes is to flip up the cap and pour the nebs in - close it, slip on the top bit and press on - breathe in using a mask (included) or the mouth piece. it makes a very slight shhhh noise - very quiet.Nebulises well with plenty of vapour.Battery lasts ages (included).Cleaning is easy - wash the mast and mouth piece as normal - use a tiny bit of distilled water and nebulise it! Voila!It packs into the cushioned poach which holds everything - perfect for travel, and so very handy for my dad who has severe COPD.I'd say essential for people with severe COPD who may wish to have it on their person for emergency when travelling or popping out.

Ne ho comprati 2: il primo con l'account di un amico al prezzo di 75 euro (85 meno 10 di buono sconto Amazon), il secondo in offerta lampo a 65 euro per fare un regalo. In farmacia mi avevano chiesto 150 euro! ( cui andrebbero aggiunti i 30 dell'alimentatore che si compra a parte).Silenziosissimo (praticamente zero rumore), pratico e abbastanza veloce. Il primo ha funzionato bene solo la prima volta (circa 30 minuti per 7 ml di soluzione), dopodiché impiegava circa 1 ora (a volte 1 ora e mezza) per la stessa quantità di farmaco. Il secondo, che ho testato prima di regalarlo a mia madre, ha sempre impiegato il tempo previsto (28 minuti circa per 7 ml). Ho eseguito la pulizia del dispositivo come indicato nelle istruzioni (acqua saponata, aceto per il tappo a retina o una notte nel detergente per dentiere) ma nessun miglioramento. Sono passato dalle batterie ricaricabili all'alimentatore specifico Omron (che ovviamente ho comprato su Amazon a 30 euro circa) sperando dipendesse da quello. Nessun cambiamento. Prima di rispedirlo indietro ho ritentato la pulizia del tappo a retina lasciandolo quasi 24 ore nel detergente per dentiere e (miracolo!) ha iniziato a funzionare correttamente: meno di 30 min per 7 ml di farmaco. Sulla base della mia esperienza posso confermare che ha consigliato bene chi ha scritto nei commenti di lavare e far funzionare l'apparecchio solo con acqua distillata per qualche minuto al fine di garantire una migliore pulizia dell'apparecchio.Posso anche confermare che funziona con i farmaci cortisonici come il Clenil visto che la mia tosse è guarita (senza farmaco mi dura anche mesi).In definitiva questa nuova tecnologia mesh (anche detta a membrana perforata) è portentosa. L'onere di pulire bene l'apparecchio non è un problema (andrebbe fatto con tutti i tipi di dispositivi per garantirne la durata ed impedire il proliferare di funghi e batteri). Unico neo il prezzo del tappo a retina che, secondo la casa costruttrice, andrebbe sostituito dopo un anno: 80 euro per un tappo (anche se in titanio, microforato al laser) sono veramente troppi tenendo anche conto che l'apparecchio ormai si compra con meno di 70 euro. Sarebbe come dire che l'apparecchio si deve cambiare ogni anno. Ritengo che il tappo a retina come pezzo di ricambio non dovrebbe costare più di 10-15 euro (comunque io spero duri di più dell'anno indicato nelle istruzioni anche perché immagino sia legato alle ore effettive di funzionamento. Nonostante tutto mi sento di poter attribuire il massimo punteggio e appena lo trovo nuovamente in offerta ne compro un altro.

Celui ci est mon deuxième nébuliseur Omron, acheté en prévision du moment ou il faudra remplacer le tamis sur le premier. J'ai préféré racheter un système complet plutot qu'un tamis seul. C'est un excellent produit, très fiable, solide et totalement silencieux. Sa petite taille permet de l'emporter partout . Il ne quitte jamais ma poche. Ne pas oublier d'avoir toujours un jeu de piles neuves avec soi. Son utilisation est très simple.Je l'utilise avecle traitement prescrit par mon médecin c'est à dire Terbutaline + Atrovent et c'est parfait car bien des fois ou j'étais en difficulté il m'a beaucoup aidé.La seule contrainte est de le stocker debout dans la poche ou le sac. Je le recommande à tous ceux et celles qui recherchent la qualité.

Dieses Gerät ist seit März 2015 bei mir im Einsatz, also seit knapp zwei Jahren. Zuerst hatte ich Anlaufschwierigkeiten, als ich noch normale Batterien benutzte, billige wie teure, alle, die im Handel zu kriegen sind. Ich hatte einen unglaublichen Verschleiß, weil das Gerät nur gut funktionierte, solange die Batterien ganz neu waren. Mein gesundheitliches Problem sind zum einen die Neigung zu Heuschnupfen, der mir jährlich auf die Bronchien sitzt (jede Nacht und wochenlang sammelt sich dort Sekret an, leider) und eine allgemeine Allergie gegen Haustiere/Staub und Empfindlichkeit bei Rauchern in der Umgebung oder Küchenluft, die mit Mehlstaub oder Fettgebratenem angereichert ist. Das Omron-Inhaliergerät ist so handlich, dass ich es sogar mitnehmen kann in der Jackentasche. Oft wirken bei mir schon Inhalationen mit Kochsalzlösung wunderbar. Selten (etwa ein Mal im Jahr) brauche ich zusätzlich noch atemwegserweiternde Medikamente im Omron-Micro AIR. Aber meine Bronchitisanfälligkeit ist deutlich zurückgegangen, seit ich bei ersten Anzeichen mit diesem Gerät inhaliere (nur mit Kochsalzlösung!). Davor hatten wir den PariBoy im Einsatz, der jedoch wegen der Unhandlichkeit und dem Lärm selten benutzt wurde. Den Omron-Micro AIR würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen und habe mittlerweile sogar ein (noch unbenutztes) Zweitgerät für meine Tochter oder für Reisen gekauft. Es ist wie eine Dosis Meerluft zwischendurch, gerade bei der trockenen Winterluft für mich genial. Oder im Frühjahr/Sommer, wenn die Pollen wieder fliegen. Möchte ich nicht mehr missen! Ich desinfiziere es regelmäßig in Corega Tabs oder Kukident-Lösung. Nach 22 Monaten häufigem Einsatz noch keine Ersatzteile benötigt.Nachtrag: Nach 3 1/2 Jahren kaputt gegangen, funktioniert einfach nicht mehr. Beim Drücken des Einschaltknopfes blinkt das grüne Licht kurz auf, aber sonst passiert nichts. Akkus gewechselt, nichts geholfen. Batterien gekauft und eingelegt, dasselbe: außer dem kurzen Aufblinken beim Einschaltversuch tut sich nichts mehr, muss es entsorgen.

El aparato en si es muy compacto, y no pesa nada, y viene con su estuche de viaje. Me lo he llegado a poner con la mascarilla sin necesidad de sujetarlo con la mano incluso. En cuanto aprietas el botón produce la neblina en modo automático (también tiene otro modo en el que sólo produce el vapor cuando aprietas el botón), y no deja restos visibles de la medicación. Muy fácil de limpiar, y completamente silencioso. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Preso in sostituzione di un altro omron da viaggio a pistone, purtroppo io e mio figlio usiamo queste macchinette fino a consumarle per via dei nostri problemi allergici, e ne abbiamo provate molte. Questa qui è diventata subito la nostra preferita, silenziosa rapida le batterie durano un sacco. Ci impiega pochi minuti a nebulizzare il medicinale cosí finalmente non ci vogliono delle ore dovendolo fare piú volte al giorno. L'abbiamo portata in montagna per tutta la stagione nel kit emergenza viste le sue dimensioni ridottissime e finalmente ci siamo goduti le escursioni senza ansie allergiche. Portata in borsa sempre per tutto l'inverno nella sua custodia, leggera come non averla, se il bimbo si sveglia tardi lo fa tranquillamente in macchina mentre andiamo a scuola senza bisogno di cavi cavetti tubicini e seccature varie. Poi non emette alcun suono quindi anche nell'uso di notte nessun fastidio per chi dorme. Oltretutto al termine del medicinale si spegne da sola, utile considerato che magari lo si fa anche a letto e ci si addormenta. Importante mantenere l'inclinazione in modo che il medicinale vada sulla membrana altrimenti non fa in fretta. Tenendola in borsa quindi sballottolandola col liquido dentro la membrana tende a saturarsi quindi all'accensione puó metterci un pó per cominciare a nebulizzare ma poi funziona correttamente. Insomma l'abbiamo strausata e testata in ogni situazione, è ottima. Unica accortezza al termine della nebulizzazione SEMPRE smontare sciacquare bene ed asciugare i pezzi ed in particolare la membrana molto bene con un panno carta scottex. Se si usa questa accortezza la membrana non si ottura e nebulizza sempre alla grande. Per noi molto utile e funzionale, da asmatici ci semplifica la vita tanto ma tanto perchè rende quei gesti che prima richiedevano ore questione di pochi minuti e poi è molto efficace nella nebulizzazione, ho rilevato che rispetto alle altre macchinette riusciamo a "guarire" con un minor numero di trattamenti probabilmente perchè le particelle nebulizzate hanno la giusta dimensione e quindi vengono inalate correttamente. Superconsigliata.
