FakeFace No-Pull Padded Adjustable Dog Harness Vest Heavy Duty Denim Pet Lead Leash Set for Large/Medium/Small/Dogs Cats

My dog weighs 25g and is said to be large by the vet and agility experts ... but this harness is ridiculously large and may suit a dog with a very thick coat because the extra large adjustment toggles and lead clips simply look ridiculous and flop about when when adjusted. Basically the big plastic adjustment toggles slip when the dog pulls on the straps and you end up with the 3cm wide harness straps half way round the dog's back. I would also suggest that the claim of the harness being padded should read 'reinforced' as a thick material is used for the inner facing of the harness - making it rather stiff. In time the harness may soften up I guess, but I do not plan to find out as after one walk I have consigned it to the charity shop where perhaps a St Bernard may appreciate it. And the matching lead ? - suffice it to say that I did not want to compromise my dog's street cred. On a positive note, I have finally learnt that see before you buy is the only way as suppliers claims etc., are, to say the least, unreliable when it comes to dog leads and harnesses ... so thank you!

Brilliant harness we ordered two of these one in blue and one in red for our border collie and labrador. They fit perfect and lead and harness both great quality and brilliant for the price Definately recommend.

I have just brought over a dog from Spain and obviously had to ensure that the harness I purchased was secure. This harness has let me down twice and I am not happy with that. I now have to also put a lead onto his collar in case it gives way again. A foreign dog in a strange land and the thought of losing him was uppermost in my mind. On the second occasion he was actually able to step out of it as it dropped to the ground. Luckily he has been with us for 5 weeks by this time and knew his way home. I learned the hard way that you cannot rely on the clip holding the harness together.

Our dog likes putting this on but that’s where the good points in this harness end. The quality was extremely poor our dog had it in for approx half an hour on the first wear and it completely fell apart. He wasn’t even doing anything over active and the harness was the right size for the dog after measuring and then fitting on arrival.We have returned and due to it being unsafe could not recommend to anyone else. Very disappointed.

I'm amazed not sure if it is just fluke or the hot weather, but this harness seems to work. No more pulled arms from sockets or twisted backs, still a lot of work to do but it makes for training a lot easier.

I bought this after reading reviews as my husky needed a new harness and I bought this one.. I don’t think I would buy it again, didn’t last very long and snapped

Very badly designed. Product shot looks great doesnt it? Then try fitting it to your dog. Badly fitting. Very uncomfortable for the dog. Returned. Looking for a harness with thicker more forgiving straps - to provide more comfort and support. Not suitable for larger dogs in my veiw, for that reason.

Fantastic just what my boxer Cooper needed for him to stay on the straight and narrow as I had tried all the other dog leashes to no avail he walks so well on this harness making walking enjoyable instead of a trial for both of us
