Carbonic beer tap, Party Star de Luxe, for 5 litre party kegs

This 'Beer Dispenser Keg Tap for 5 Litre Party Kegs ( Party Star Deluxe ) I found to work absolutely brilliant for attaching to the top of 5 Litre barrels of Beer/Lager on sale in Retail Stores/Supermarkets such as TESCO and MORRISONS and also online at AMAZON. This Dispenser Keg Tap is a well made piece of German engineering ( by 'Fass- Frisch GmbH ) robustly made and well finished with chromium plating giving it that professional end touch to it.It is so easy to fit onto the top of 5 Litre barrels of beer/lager. The beer flow from the barrel is by placing a CO2 capsule into the fitting at the top. The recommended capsules are 16 g. One is supplied with the dispenser when purchased. Further CO 2 Capsules can be purchased in various quantities and can be purchased online with AMAZON. I buy them in packs of 10.Contrary to what some reviewers have said, is that the INSTRUCTIONS of how to fit the keg tap to barrels, is printed in the German language and therefore not easy to understand. THIS IS NOT ENTIRELY TRUE as the INSTRUCTION LEAFLET is BI-LINGUAL and are printed in ENGLISH ALSO., and are very clear and are EASY TO UNDERSTAND AND FOLLOW along with photographic illustrations that are provided. SET UP COULD NOT BE EASIER.- Thanks to the German - English translation. So this Beer Dispenser Keg Tap is easier to fit than what you would think.If you choose not buy Beer Barrels ( full of beer/lager from retail outlets, then you can buy empty 5 Litre Barrels ( Party Kegs ) from Fass-Frisch also online through AMAZON. These empty 5 Litre Party Kegs are again finely made and have a brilliant shine of Chromium finish to them. The CO2 Beer Dispenser Keg fits perfectly to them. I have stuck my own home made and designed sticky labels to the barrels ( own designed labels to them with a personal name yet fictitious to the brew I have filled them with. These empty barrels can be filled with cans of beer/lager of your own liking from your local supermarket ) OR even 'home brew which has been 'FULLY' fermented. REMEMBER, all beers and lagers will remain fresher for considerably longer when under pressure of CO 2.....otherwise once a 5 litre barrel of beer/lager, is opened, it will go flat after just a couple of days.I FULLY RECOMMEND THIS CO 2 BEER DISPENSER KEG TAP for those who enjoy Party Nights at home with an added professional touch. It is good to see an appealing frothy head on their beer which can be produced by this CO 2 Beer Dispenser Keg Tap.

Had a bit of a problem with the packaging when this turned up, but the customer service was amazing from the company Alan called me to sort it out and did so on the spot. Service like that is hard to find.As for the beer tap! Amazing much better than i expected the quality is second to none.

Using with the retail 5l kegs and it works just fine, the co2 adds a little pressure to push the beer out and also stops any oxygen spoiling the beer....Great product.

First class bit of kit, very strongly made, robust, and totally changes the draught beer, I am now using the empty keys for home made beer, excellent. Just a wee tip, the co2 cartridges can be threaded or not threaded, as they are contained in a thick plastic sleeve which is threaded . Halfords sell these in various size packs. It's a really good and well designed addition of you like draught beer at home and want it to taste and look like Pub quality, it does. The empty keys are easily washed out and steralised, miltons, and the home brew really benefits from the co2 boost. gGhost ship keys are brilliant in it , well for me anyway!!!!!!

Worked well at first but after 3 gas cylinder started to leak gas.Now a waste of time.

Tried with different kegs and different co2 cylinders. Set it up correctly. And all I get is pint after pint after pint of foam... I worked in a bar in my twenties I know how to pour beer. This just doesn't seem to work. Tried everything. Any help would be appreciated from those who got it to work but I must say. Stumped if I know. Couldn't possibly recommend.

Tap arrived on time. This is a nice bit of kit. Good quality, easy to use and clean. CO2 helps keeps the beer fresh...
