It is quiet and quick. It seems well made although I haven't really had it long enough to comment on durability. It is very simple to use. No serious dislikes but one or two downsides. I use a stovetop espresso machine which is best with fine ground coffee such as you buy. This grinder does a reasonable job but the coffee is not really ground fine enough for this sort of use..It is ok for filter and cafetière use. The "hopper" for holding the beans and the ground coffee is fixed in the top of the machine so tipping out the ground coffee is a bit awkward without spilling. For the same reason the hopper has to be cleaned by brushing it out which is a bit fiddly. Definitely can't wash it out as water would get into the motor with probably exciting result! I shall use it but at some time will likely buy one which has adjustable grinding "fineness", and a removable hopper which will make it easier to empty and clean.
