Removing dried cement from hard surfaces** A: It is pretty robust but probably only for domestic use. The rubber handle didn’t cope that well with me using a hammer on it to shift some wall tiles and a bit of concrete. Good for getting down the back of radiators for wallpaper scraping though. **Q: is strong enough to scrap artex** A: Definitely not mine broke after 10 minutes of use.What you can do though as the head screws off is use it with a metal paint roller extension pole that has the same screw thread. **Q: Is this a sharp bladed object? Would it remove a popcorn ceiling?** A: Danielle, it's essentially a wallpaper stripping blade with a long handle. I bought mine to reach some awkwardly high spots on the wall and staircase so whilst it might remove residue covering once softened I don't think it would be effective on hard surfaces etc. **Q: Hi would these work with cricut machines and viynls** A: Very good question, I'd say no, because the edges are not that clean finished (quite rough). These are more to work with fillers. Good value for money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sharp edges *by P***E on 11 October 2025* The way these scrapers are made leaves very sharp pieces of excess plastic aka 'flashing' on the grip section. This can easily puncture your fingers if sufficient pressure is applied during use. Ouch! A minute spent removing these with some sandpaper, file, knife or deburring tool is well worth the time.
