As an e-reader it works well but is not as user friendly as a Kindle but you can use epubs without conversion. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Pocketbook become significantly worse in past years *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on 26 March 2018* Pocketbook become significantly worse in past years. I had 2 pocketbooks before, but it seems that Ukrainian crisis significantly affected manufacturer. The quality and awesomeness of pocketbook, which I appreciated in 2011, left in 2011.It still reads a lot of formats, you still can use mini-usb and upload books as easy as on a flash drive.But the following will disappoint you if you previously owned pocketbook:* User interface become much worse and inconvenient* Before firmware update crashes very often while you are reading any books (tried with epub and pdf formats). After firmware update it crushes not so often.* It has absolutely useless screen lock when you put it horizontal position. It suppose to lock the screen if you put it away, to not use buttery on a backlight. But in practice, it lock your screen if you put book in horizontal position while reading in seating posture.* No ABBY Lingvo dictionary! Which is an absolute fail!
