Bodymax Omni 25kg Selectabell Dumbbells - Pair

Yet more garbage from BodyMax. First set I bought lasted less than 6 months before the discs that set the weight became completely jammed (I was carful to never drop the dumbbells because of how fragile they are). With this second set, plates will randomly fall out when you least expect it. Luckily I haven’t had one drop out when pressing overhead yet it’s happens 2-3 times per session.I don’t know whether other brands are as poor as BodyMax or whether it’s just impossible to make long lasting adjustable dumbbells, either way avoid these lik the plague!

These Bodymax dumbbells are ideal for home users and a great piece of kit!Adjustable at 2.5kg increments from 2.5kg up to 25kg, they are the perfect space saving solution (the equivalent range in standard dumbbells would require a huge rack with 20 individual dumbbells instead of just two.The stands are well made and very sturdy plastic. The dumbbells themselves are also well built and after a year of use, the clicking/selection mechanism is still performing well.The design of the dumbbells also mean they are roll resistant but they are a little on the bulky side when the bigger weight plates are selected.Overall, the build quality is great and these adjustable dumbbells are a great affordable solution for those who wish to work out in the comfort of their own home.I would definitely recommend them!

Compared to buying many dumbbells from around 7kg and upwards, this is a great money saver. This costs less than what it would be to buy all the dumbbells, plus it saves a lot of space. It is expensive yes, but a better option than buying many dumbbells which are expensive. Have A-levels right around the corner so these are good as I won't have to worry about not going to the gym as much for now.

The dumbbells are great. However I was expecting them to come with Bodymax branding instead they came with Omni branding. I did question this and was told the this was BodyMax was being rebranded to this. I do think that a state should be put to state this clearly so you know what you are buying.

Best investment I have made for a long time. They are easy to store and do not take up a lot of space. The weight selection is easy to change and brilliant for doing adjusting weight during sets.A brilliant investmentIt is now 2018 and I still stand by this being the best investment

Had these weights a couple of weeks now and have used them everyday. Quite expensive really but i think it’s a great investment considering the variety of weights on them. They’re sturdy, the grip is good and they’re practical as they don’t take up hardly any room. Good to have a set of relatively heavy weights at home if i don’t have time to go to the gym. Have recommended them to friends.

I really like the Selectabell Dumbbells. They do not take up much room in the house at all. Changing the weight is quick and efficient. The dumbells although slightly longer than normal dumbbells are easy to use and can be used with a variety of exercises within the house. Love them

Moving between weights is very easy, and it's easy to get going immediately from the moment you open the box.The only downside is that the weights rattle sometimes when lifting, which makes me feel like it could come apart and drop on my toes..but it's been ok so far.
