Worth the money, great cooler
Huge fan but fit nicely into the case and manages to keep my 7700K nice and cool, even whilst playing games such as Witcher 3 on max graphics. I think the hottest my CPU has been is around 50. (I'm not a computer person so this is just from my POV). The thermal paste that came with it is really good and decent quality in my opinion. Thought I'd have to reapply it after struggling a little with the fan screws (my fault, not the fan design) and it moving around a lot but decided to test it with the first application and it's doing great.

Great Value Cooler
Was looking for a different brand of cooler but went for this as my case wasn't large enough for the one I wanted. Not to worry this dropped the temps on my 6700k by 10 degrees from the cooler originally installed. It's also much quieter. It's not the easiest of installs. After fitting the back plate, CPU and re-installing the mobo, realised the screws attach from behind the mobo so had to unplug everything remove it to install the cooler. (Possibly should have read the instructions more thoroughly). Have to say now it's up and running I'm very impressed, quiet, efficient and excellent value for money.

Great for price
For reference I am running an i7-6700k and Arctic MX-4 thermal compound. The included backplate was a little bit too big for my case and this was a bit of a hassle as I had to hacksaw the AMD part of holes on one end of the plate, would have been better if they had sold separate AMD and Intel back plates though I understand this could increase cost. Getting the metal stands on the block was quite a hassle too but in the end I got them in the correct place.Very pleased with the large block however not interfering with anything on my micro-ATX board which is a huge plus for those who have smaller mobos. The sound of the stock fan can be loud when your CPU temps start to pick up, though with my headphones this is not an issue when audio is playing.Temperatures are really good even when running at 100% usage for a long amount of time.Really good for those who want a cheaper option but still have good temps. I've had no issues aside from my warranty number not being accepted on their site though this was fixed over night by their support team.

Amazing Product - Full Fitting Review.
My i7-4790k processor started overheating, 40-50 degrees idle, going up to 100 degrees under load, and replacing the thermal paste made no difference.I researched and got the Cryorig CH7A because my RAM sticks are high profile and the Cryorig specs stated no RAM install issues.------- INSTRUCTIONS -------When it arrived I was really impressed with the packaging and instructions. The packaging exceeds what you would expect for a product in this price range, and the instructions were very clear. The best part though was QR codes for every part of the instructions which immediately opened a short movie on my phone once I pointed the phone camera at them. So before starting I could see exactly how to install the cooler using manufacturer guidelines. This was very cool.------- THE DESIGN -------This H7 is well made, and the opportunity to flip the fan to the opposite side is awesome - this let me make sure the fan was expelling right into the rear case fan, which was then pulling the hot air right out of the tower. The heatsink surface is large, much bigger than the stock one I pulled out - the fins are probably 5 times the size! The heatsink easily covered the whole of the i7-4790 CPU. The greater the contact surface, the greater the heat dissipation. The back-plate and screw system is massively improved over stock heatsinks that require you to PUSH 4 plastic plugs through a delicate mobo. Such a crazy design that has too many variable factors that can lead to poor surface contact and poor heat dissipation. The Cryorig screw system is fantastic.------- FITTING -------As I was replacing a stock cooler, the Mobo was in-situ, so I anticipated a bit of a job but it was actually pretty easy. My case allows rear access to the mobo so the back-plate was fitted in 1 minute.A tiny drop of thermal grease was applied to the CPU, then spread using a bit of plastic to create a VERY micro thin layer. This stuff is not meant to be a typical bedding material - it's only there to fill any microscopic deviations in two mating surfaces. Less is more folks.Inside the case the cooler is large, so it kind of obscure the holes and screws you are trying to lower it on to. So this was a little tricky fitting to a mobo in a case, but I managed it with one pair of hands in about 3 minutes.Round to the back of the case again and a minute spent slowly tightening the four screw with a starhead spanner. I tightened them all a few turns each until it started to feel tight, then a little extra turn - no real effort required, you're just making sure the heatsink is in contact with the CPU.------- RESULTS -------Before fitting the H7 my CPU was idling at over 40 degrees and reaching 100 degree blue screen temps when gaming or doing video work. After fitting the H7 the idle dropped a whole 10 degrees! Under load, it didn't even go above 60! That's a massive improvement for a very small outlay.Extremely happy with this product, highly recommended!

Great especially considering the price
Been using it for a few months now and wow I have to say that this fan is amazing. It's quite big to be honest so I was a bit concerned about the size and if it's going to mess with the memory slots but it doesn't (just about fits). The build quality seems really nice and the black and white colours go well with my black and white build. In terms of performance I have it paired up with an overclocked i3-8350K (to 4.6 ghz) and I'm seeing temps of 65 during stress tests so I'm really pleased.
O**.
Buy something else
i've built several PCs for my self, family and friends and this thing made me bleed 3 times and the installation was a nightmare. After I installed it temps did change by 5 degrees celsius thats it, for the price its not worth the trouble find something better.

I looked to upgrade the fan and thanks to some great online forums I settled on this tremendous
I have had the noisiest PC (ASUS K30BF-M32BF with AMD A10-6700) on earth for three years but I finally had enough! I looked to upgrade the fan and thanks to some great online forums I settled on this tremendous, ultra-quiet cooler. As an intermediate experienced computer tinkerer, I carefully removed the old crap fan and installed this sleek beast in an hour and it is beautiful! My PC has gone from about 60dB to 30dB and the temperature of the CPU plummeted 30C! WHY DID I WAIT 3 YEARS?! Buy it!
