Gibsons G224 Bingo Game, Multicolor

I got this as I have fond memories of playing bingo with my folks as Christmas and family gatherings. I also wanted to help my 5 yr. old recognise numbers bigger than 20. We have played it a lot now as both kids love the game. She is starting to say things like 9 and 3, 93, so my plan is working. Its great fun and my husband is starting to develop his own caller's lingo, which is nearly as much fun to listen to as playing the game is! The wipe clean boards also add to the fun for the kids. They especially love the fact that the pens come with erasers on them. My only criticism is that the one of the pens has already dried out. That aside it's good old fashioned fun.

I bought a Bingo game for Christmas and it was a great hit, this game is re-usable and the counters are wooden with a sheet to put them on to help you keep track. I bought two of these. One for my grandchildren of 5 & 7 and one for our WI. I like that the numbers go into a bag and not in a rotary wheel. We borrow one of those for our WI and the numbers are very small. The numbers on these are a really good size and much easier to see and the children love putting their hands into the bag and pulling one out. The tally card that the numbers go on is only A5 size which is fine when playing with the children, but a bit fiddly for our WI, so I've made a larger one and laminated it which is much better.

Good value but the velvet bag is too small for adult hands and slows the game but is good as a starter set we used it for social distancing street bingo to raise money for charity

I bought this item for my son, aged 7, who absolutely loves the game. It has kept us all entertained for some time. The only problem is the pens that are provided - they did not last long at all and had run out after the second game so we have had to replace with some white board markers. The bingo cards are good quality. Very enjoyable for some family time away from electronics!

Looks good have yet to play it, due to other comments about the pens that come with the game...there right! I tried one quick game the pen ran out half way through, that's why I bought the recommend pens as well.For me personally the pens that come with the game are much better as the slimline bingo dabbers are very wet and can rub off easily on the bingo ticket/sheet board.

I'm really pleased with this and so is my daughter (who is always impressed by wipe-clean pens!) I love the fact that the cards are reusable and that there's a lot of them (as we'll invariably lose some over the years). Appeals to all ages, a great after-dinner game for families and our 4 year old also managed to join in. I'm aiming to use this for a travel game, too, by taking another bag or box to hold the numbers already called out as there's no chance of me keeping them on my lap...I just need to swot up on bingo calling terms now!

A good product, well made and packaged.The only problem is that the cards are wipe-clean and only 4 suitable pens are supplied in the box. As we did not open this game until we wanted to play it on Christmas Day this gave us a problem scratching around for more pens. Either more pens should be supplied, or the need for more pens should be made clear on the box.
