Check everything is securely tightened, thoroughly clean any protective grease from the chuck taper.
A sturdy piece of equipment, with a very good range of speeds and a powerful motor. There is no noticeable eccentricity of the quill over the complete range of drilling depth. A minor disadvantage of having a 16mm chuck is the need for a precision "pin chuck" to allow small drills to be used.As received, the chuck spindle was not secured to the drive pulley, and needed the pulley thread to be run through with a M8 tap. This was not picked up at inspection by the manufacturer. One corrected, this has become a good addition to the workshop.

Broken
The machine arrived broken, so I was unable to try it. I'm expecting a full refund, including the cost of sending it back.

Jury is still out
Box & polystyrene damaged. Would not turn on (probably due faulty micro switch). Plastic guard missing. Very easy to assemble. Tall. Great having on/off switch on front of machine. Arrived on time. Seems top heavy with small base.

Affordable, gets the job done if you know its limits.
Not a professional kit by any means, but it gets the job done if one knows its limitations. For metal, it's a bit under-powered, but that's expected from the specs. Example: RPMs start to drop deeper than 5 mm when drilling 6061 Alu with a brand new 12 mm bit at 1500 RPM, using mineral oil. I For wood, it should be just fine. Assembly was easy. Read the manual though: the chuck needs to be smacked with a mallet to set properly -- otherwise it will come flying at you.
