From the manufacturer HOW TO APPLY? Ensure that surfaces are clean and free from paint, varnish, stain, grease, bark or any other contaminants. Shake well before use. Apply by brush, spray or dipping. Apply a minimum of two coats if brushing or spraying. Apply second coat after first has soaked in, before drying. Soak end grains well or dip for 3 mins for maximum protection. WHERE TO USE IT? Sika is your best ally!

Review: Does work - Doors in my flat are not varnished and I was getting a bit of mold on them during rainy winter months, and this worked so well! I originally wanted to varnish the doors but I can't get around the smell of it so this is a great alternative, still use the mask while putting it on but it doesn't smell, it's great. I also covered with it all the unvarnished furniture surfaces like back of cabinets facing the wall and inside drawers.

**Q: would this be suitable for raised beds to grow veggies in?**
A: Personally I wouldn't.  How do you know how much leaches into nearby soil over time? If it gets into your veggies surely it can't be any good for you.

**Q: Can i use inside of a summer house? My summer house is dry on the outside but humid on the inside, why is this?**
A: This product is a wood preserver, so should be fine to use on the inside of your summerhouse. Humidity is moisture in the air. This is generally caused by lack of ventilation, and can be made worse by lack of heating. You could try opening windows more often. If you have electricity in your summer house, (or can run a power cable to it) you might even want to try using a fan or even a dehumidifier if you have one.

**Q: Does it say in the tin what the minimum temperature is that the product can be applied. Its cold here!**
A: 5 degrees is the minimum temperature

**Q: Can this be applied by a pressure sprayer?**
A: YES - I use a pressure sprayer to apply it, which operates by pumping.

I purchased this after reading various online reviews as I wanted to treat a small log store that I had built. Clear and slightly thicker than water, it went on easily and absorbed well. The one minus is the lid, which was stiff to pull out, to the point that the lid loop snapped.
