Right now I am using them to hang my Christmas cards on ribbon attached to the wall with push pins and the clips are holding firmly. Since a card is just about the weight of a piece of construction, you probably need to use two pins for each. I hope this helps. **Q: How do you affix the jute to the wall?** A: You attach the jute to the wall any way you like, pins, nails, screws ,tape and etc. First you make a string of clothespins by running the jute through the spring in the clothespins spacing them as you like. As i don't know exactly what you are doing i have nothing to ad. And after reading the rules I decided to go for it! They came really quickly and I was satisfied with how they looked. However, I decided to count them as some reviews said they were short of 100 pegs, I did have 100 :)But 11 of them were either broken, miss shaped or snapped. They are alright, but unfortunately not very sturdy.
