Beexcellent GM-1 Gaming Headset for PS4 Xbox One with Mic

Unfortunately I'm sending these back. The sound is not that great. They sound like your under water. It's muted like you've pushed the headphones cups into your ears. They're not crisp and clear like my old Turtle Beaches were and even those were crap because they were badly made, very weak plastic. They only lasted just over a year before falling apart. Also, you have to plug these headset into your controller which is frustrating, because you hear everyone else who is speaking online, especially in Battlefield 1 and you can't mute them on that game individually. The mic is ok but not very clear according to my friends who I speak too. They hardly hear me.UPDATE! The company were kind enough to send me a free headset to try again. This time the sound was a little better but not as crisp or as clear as my old ones. The reason I'm giving them 5 stars is because the company are trying to resolve my issue and are listening to my problems. Also, these new headset are not that bad once you get to use them. They are very light and don't make your ears sweat when wearing them for long periods.I only use them for playing online games and they are good for that. The sound could be better but for the price, you can't go wrong with these. Just don't expect a high quality sound from them. They do what they supposed to do and that's all you need. So thumbs up 👍🏻 from me.

Good quality chat headset that works fine with Xbox One wireless controller with 3.5mm jack socket.Dropping 1 star for the USB cable which is too short to use with the Xbox One unless you have the Xbox right next to you. Why can't the USB cable be removable in case you can't or don't want to use it?Will have to see how reliable it is. Currently being used by my 8 year old son so getting lot's of heavy use. It's usually the internal connection between the jack plug and cable that is the week point. Why can't the cable be replaceable (like my AKG wired headphones) ?

Not impressed, few simple errors, LED function is only available if used with PC as the USB is too thick for the PS4 and of course doesn’t reach anyway due to it being required to be plugged into the controller. Massive design fault. Far from as flexible as stated in the video and description as it feels more solid and I dare not twist it more than a few CM as it will actually break. Again, the USB is useless so it just hangs there and it’s pretty annoying.

For the price that was paid, this headset has been one of the best gaming headsets that I've used compared to all the other, more expensive ones I've used over the years. The quality of sound, both through the headset and the microphone is very high standard and the durability of the headset is very strong, even with lots of drops and tumbles from the desk. The only issue that I do have is the lack of extra bass, but that isn't as vital considering the price range, plus the ear pads could be slightly better quality.

The headset quality isn't very good. The wire inside must be damaged (which happened during transit as it was like it when I received it) people cannot always hear me and often ask me to repeat myself. I would not buy this product again given the choice.

Purchased these for my PS4, but if you want to use the lights on the headphones and plug in the headphones at the same, this is not possible as the usb connection is to short !! The headphones for the price are good and appear to work well, just frustrating that you can not use the lights and the headphoines together as advertised. Would not recommend

Brought 2 of these headsets for me and my boyfriend to use on our Xbox ones’ because you know, it states in the title that it is compatible with Xbox one... well it isn’t. The mic does not work, it doesn’t light up and it’s not even that confortable to wear.

Well Bought as a Christmas present for my kids!! Only started using it Christmas Day and they are already faulty!! Stopped working totally now!!! And past the return date!! So now stuck with a headset that does not work and unable to return them!!!
