Far from it, the flavour is nice and it leaves my mouth feeling really clean. It doesn't foam like normal toothpaste so does feel a bit strange, almost like you aren't cleaning your teeth properly. I have found dampening the toothbrush again after an initial quick brush round gets a bit more of a lather. Then after brushing my mouth actually feels fresher for longer than standard toothpaste. Only issue is my teeth don't seem as bright so I may get some charcoal paste too in order to alleviate that. Great product for reducing your plastic which is the reason I bought it. Will definitely buy again.
