Footboards are longboards so ideal for players with bigger feet (me) and heel/toe players. Changeable cam makes a difference to the playability of the pedal, as does the ability to ‘shorten’ the footboard for a ‘heavier’ feel to the pedal. I am not a heel down except for certain numbers. But it's single pivot and action is very responsive **Q: please can you tell me if it possible to fit a beater to the left pedal as i use single and double bass drum set ups** A: Sadly not. In theory you can attach the beater and springs with a few basic DIY skills, however the problem is with the hoop clamp assembly. Reverse the beaters so that the felt sides face you, with the plastic sides against the drum, or you may damage the mesh.
