The website states there will be general questions asked relating to these tables in the exam paper, so the student needs to be familiar with the tables prior to the exam. The specific distribution tables with lists of unique data items are not loaded in the calculator and Pearson seem to suggest this is not a requirement. However, I bought this calculator as it is one of two that Pearson recommend for the new exam. Have a scout round on their website, in the specification section, for specific details. My understanding is this is the top spec of calculator which is allowed in the new exam. Hope this helps. **Q: battery life, how long if used 3hrs /day?** A: What kind of batteries does it take? Ordinary AAA non-rechargeable cells will do? **Q: Does this calculator have backlit screen?** A: yes, indeed it does. It's a very nice hi-res clour display.
