Few plants need fertiliser in the winter months, even if they are winter-flowering. Some organic fertilisers, such as fish blood and bone or poultry manure pellets, are slow to release their nutrients and are applied in late winter or early spring in preparation for the growing season." Hope that helps **Q: Is it suitable for edible plants?** A: Yes **Q: Can it be used for a hydroponic gardening in containers?** A: I don’t see why not, it’s essential just liquid plant food. **Q: Any good for cut flowers. Cheers** A: Hey, I wouldn’t use it for that propose. It is a fertiliser rather than those little plant foods. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product. Amazing flowers and growth *by A***N on 1 July 2026* Miracle growth indeed!! Very happy with this product. Always get amazing flowers once this is used. Without fail. Also used it on my potted wisteria this year and have seen 6” a day growth! With bigger healthier looking leaves and thicker stem. Truly incredible. Might be the weather too of course as it’s been record sunshine and heat since May. But have used this product last year too with great results - so v happy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product *by I***N on 21 June 2026* Really good product does what it says on the bottle ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great price - but …. *by S***T on 17 October 2022* Bought 2 of these. They were a great price. But neither lid screws back onto the bottle. Sort of cross threaded. Feels like you ve done it but just lifts straight off. I was taking one of these to my mothers house in my car. Could have been a disaster as noticed brown liquid on a few of the things in the bag. Then realised it had been leaking. Only slightly thankfully as it was standing up. Would have been a complete disaster if it had fallen over. I did try contacting Amazon about this but auto generated questions kept telling me to return it. Which I obviously couldn’t do. We are using as they are but just not v safe. So to sum up, product is good, but neither lid screws back on to the bottle, so potential for spillage. ## Frequently Bought Together - Miracle-Gro All Purpose Concentrate Liquid Plant Food, 2.5 Litre - Miracle-Gro Rose & Shrub Concentrated Plant Food, 800 ml - Miracle-Gro 121180 Azelia, Camellia & Rhododendron Concentrated Plant Food, 800 ml, Natural --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/48585787-all-purpose-concentrate-liquid-plant-food-2-5-litre](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/48585787-all-purpose-concentrate-liquid-plant-food-2-5-litre) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
