Review: Works. Just have to take some care when mounting. - I can only assume that the less favourable reviews for this product were the result of some mishaps people have been having. With a bit of care and planning, this product will do what it has been designed to do. There are no instructions that come with it but it's pretty obvious what to do. Basically just peel the backing off the sticky side of the velcro strip, cut it into the required lengths, stick them round your window frames and then attach the bit with the zip to them to create a seal. Yes, it's fiddly and if you are careless you can rip the material and make a bodge job of it all but it's really not that hard if you take some care over it. Takes about 10 minutes to do. I've had no problems with it. The velcro has stuck to my wooden window frames perfectly well and hasn't peeled off at all in the few weeks that I've had it up for. To be fair to the makers of this product, making something to deal with the problem of sticking an air conditioning exhaust out of a window is a pretty tough assignment. I don't really see how much better they could make this. It's does a fiddly and tricky job and does it perfectly well in my opinion.

Don't import it from Germany, this is the same product (exactly the same), I've ordered both, they're all the same, just get this one and save yourself some cash.

Easy to fit, and it does the job. I bought this for a stand alone air conditioning unit, it was easy to put together and made it so that the hot air wouldn’t come back in easily
