Review: A more robust jotter - Really nice everyday pen, has a slightly thicker grip to the standard Parker Jotter, and has metal (brass?) threads in the top of the pen compared to the Jotter that for a long time has had plastic threads that can easily break. Writes nicely and has a strong click that works every time and hasn't got stuck yet. Only real drawback is it takes Sheaffer's own cartridge that's a little harder to come by, but if you really care you can cut down the plastic end of a standard Parker refill by a couple mm and they work perfectly.

**Q: What kind of ink cartridge refill does this pen take?**
A: It takes the Sheaffer K-refill. However, it will also take a Caran d'Ache Goliath refill and a Parker refill, if you cut a little of the plastic top off.

**Q: what size eraser refill does the pencil take?**
A: It's a pen and doesn't use an eraser.

**Q: What is the ink color? black or blue?**
A: These pens come with a black medium refill installed.

**Q: Can you explain the three dimension measurements (lxwxh).  i understand the 1st one (length). how are the other two measured?**
A: I'm sorry, I don't have an answer.  All I can tell you is that it is my favorite writing instrument.  I like the way it feels in my hand.
