Not a bed just for little girls!
Got this bed for my newly decorated room and I love it. 19 year old girl here, and I fit very comfortably in it, it's quite larger than I expected! Lovely frame, the paint job is solid and it was easy to assemble with 2 people -- took us 45 minutes to just under an hour altogether. All nuts, bolts and screwdriver is provided, no need to buy any handy tools yourself. Do keep the little screwdriver they provide for the future, as you'll need to tighten the screws on the bed every few months I reckon.Overall, it's a fantastic bed for the price.

Great purchase
Great buy. Sturdy. Everything arrived as should with nothing missing. Ordered trundle bed as well. As in reviews was apprehensive as some reported paint work marked, noy case with this one. Instructions were easy to follow, assembled on my own, with being creative with props to support.Day bed and trundle goes into a king-size. Great way of having more space back in spare room.

Julian Bowen Versailles Daybed
Im in for an operation soon, so will have to sleep downstairs. I thought this bed in my front room would be nice as it is also possible to use as a couch. There is a couple of places where the powder coating has come away, possibly in transit. Im not complaining because I think the bed looks lovely. I assembled it my self quite easily. I did use a stool to hold up one end while fitting bolts to the other end. I do weigh 16 and half stone and it seems plenty strong enough for me. also it seems wider than a normal three foot single bed because of the back bars/rails, this lets me use more of the width of the bed with out fear of falling out. 5 stars from me, I love it.

Absolutely disgusted
I'm sure the bed is lovely, but beware of the company that sells it. It hasn't arrived and after 4 weeks I'm yet to be able to get a refund. I'm not happy

Great bed - it is a single no extra bed like in the picture
Great bed - but do know the pull out bit in the picture making it a double is not included- It is just a single. Also not sure where you would get the extra bit from if you did want it.

A gorgeous bed
I really love this bed. I spent the evening putting it together and (although I have to say, the instructions are awful - I wish manufacturers would use words, not just dreadful drawings with numbers and letters all over them) even though two people are supposed to do it, I found I could do it myself - I used a little stool to be the other "pair of hands" and that worked just fine.Only two small gripes (and the reason for four rather than five stars) - one of the screw holes wasn't quite round - it has a little bump of metal on the thread that makes it impossible to get one of the screws in very far. I tried a few different screws and took it out and re-aligned it a few times, in case it was more to do with my competence. However, I've managed to get all the other screws in fine, and there really is an extra little bump of metal which presumably stuck on when the part was cast (if that's how it's made). Fortunately the screw/hole is not in a place that compromises the structure, and the fact that the screw is only half in is barely visible. The other minor gripe is to do with instructions - and this often goes for a lot of self-assembly stuff. Please, whoever prints these things - we can read. Put words as well as pictures for those of us that like precise instructions rather than de-coding awful artwork!!The bed looks beautiful, is very comfortable with the memory foam mattress that Julian Bowen supply, and I'm very glad I bought it.

Beautiful bed, reasonably priced, quick delivery.
Saw this bed in debenhams at about £70 more than online, so this was a bonus! My 9 year old daughter loves the bed, it was straightforward to put together, with assistance of 9 year old(!),seems pretty solid, and looks very glamorous. Really pleased with it. Also really amazed at how quickly the seller got this to us, it arrived just 2 days after ordering, about 3 days sooner than estimated. So far would recommend.

Value for money
Looks a bit cheap, not any better than an IKEA bed. Was easy to assemble. And it's cream, not white.
