Fatal flaw: inaccessible gasket rapidly becomes toxic
I was initially delighted with this, because it will blend basically anything. It makes normal soup extra tasty. It makes raw kale edible. It makes a mean daiquiri. However, it has a fatal flaw. It has two rubber seals which need to be removed for cleaning after each use. One is the rubber 'o' ring around the lid. That's relatively easy. The other is the rubber gasket which seals the base (with the blades) on to the goblet. That gasket is well hidden. I only discovered it when I was researching how to cure the awful smell coming from the device. Guess what? The gasket - which, incidentally, has the same colour and consistency as cooked squid - traps food beaneath it; is almost impossible to remove; but needs to be cleaned regularly to prevent it from becoming toxic. It took me about twenty minutes to remove it using a bent paperclip. It is recessed in a narrow but deep threaded cavity. Digging it out was a horrible exercise and probably damaged the seal. Fancy doing that every time you blend something? No, and neither so I.Having owned the thing for a terrifyingly long period of time (given that I only recently discovered what you need to do to clean it) I intend to bin it. So, so gross. So, so unfixeable. I wish I was in time for a refund. This is a profoundly defective bit of design. It could have been so good - but as it is, it is unuseable.Google it if you don't believe me. I suspect the relatively lack of people complaining on Amazon is due to the sheer impossibility of discovering the actual cause of the problem in the first place.

Great value (if bought during sale )
Bought this on sale for just under 40 quid. Have been using breville personal blender pro for the last 1 year. Was quite happy with it. But Nutri ninja is miles better. Better build quality and better performance despite being just 10 quid more. It takes much less time to make my smoothies in my ninja too.The only advantage of the smaller revile is that its less noisier. The ninja is sure to wake (jolt) your flatmates if used in the early hours

Life changing
More powerful than mates Nutribullet. So, I love bread, toast and all that but don't think my body loves wheat, also never eat much friut and my cholesterol was through the roof... Time for a life change..Leave toast for weekends and in the week have fun pimping various mixes for my breakfast which I take to and drink at work.Always use oats as a base (apparently good for cholesterol), throw in fruit and bit of water, sometimes some root ginger or turmeric. Keep stash of frozen fruit in freezer and throw in any fresh (or about to go off) fruit.Had the drive (health) to keep it up and love getting morning blast of fruit and been getting more adventurous by throwing in veg green stuff.

Do not fill to max line
Do not fill to max line. I put 6 tbsp of nuts and seeds, 200g of yoghurt and defrosted fruits & vegetables. This blew out the seal, still worked but black stuff underneath the blade top (if that makes senses) didn't go in the smoothie itself. Ordered a new blade extractor for £20, so a bit pricey compared to the whole unit.

Top product for smoothies and cocktails
Product is powerful enough and manages anything from frozen fruit and ice with ease, just remember to cut fruit into small cubes before freezing and always add liquid. The product feels solid with all attachments and fixings well made, simple to use and easy to clean the blade and cups. The cups are robust and are 100% water tight which is a bonus.

Superb blender, great for cutting through hard veg!
We love this blender, used for smoothies and soups we really have made a lot of use out of it.He blades are really sharp and it easily cuts through carrots, potatoes, ice etc with no issue at all, we only really use one of the containers it came with but there are a couple and with different lids. Highly recommended!

Very Good Blender.
Very strong and very fast spins. There's no need to spend a whole lot of money on a more poweful blender as this thing will blast through anything.Comes with 2 cups, and blasts through anything we throw at it. Raw smoothies, almonds, Peanuts, Pomelos...Very happy with this Blender.
