Quick downloads!
With a new D-Link 4G router, I purchased few low cost "data only" SIM cards to check out performance versus price.Despite living in London we are in a poor location as regards mobile reception. As such, I paired the router with a Poynting XPOL external antenna. That has proved to be a wise move.I tried a "3" SIM and it gives adequate connection speeds (with a download of about 15 Mbps). It is also by far the cheapest provider. This EE SIM is effectively twice the price but gives consistent 30 Mbps downloads.I also tested O2 and VOXI SIMs with mixed results. In the end I have gone with EE despite the extra expense. I'm sure other users will have different experiences depending on location and equipment.Note. The MyEE APP failed to run on my Xiaomi Android 10 mobile - so I had to use the browser on my PC to register and activate the SIM.

This an excellent product. It provides the lowest price per GB ...
This an excellent product. It provides the lowest price per GB and quite good to acceptable coverage. I gave it four stars because:(1) It is not simple to activate. Impossible if you are on the road and only have your smart phone without any possibility of a wifi connection.(2) The 6 GB data for use over three months deal means that you are limited to using 2 GB per month. If you exceed the use of 2 GB/month, even in the first 30 days, the card will die. Never use it for downloading films. I am not sure about music. Unused data in any month does not carry forward to the following month, either.(3) After using your 6 GB in three months, or exceeding 2 GB in any month, it is very complicated to top up on EE and costs more than three times buying a new card on Amazon, i.e. £20 per 2 GB for use in 30 days!(4) It is best to buy a new card every time you run out of data usage: Provided you have the time to wait for delivery and the patience to activate it.

Simple, Quick, Good Value Unless in Poland
***** UPDATE *****I've reduced the rating to 3* because I took my MiFi box to Poland and despite having roaming activated it would not allow internet access. EE online documentation claim it'll work in EU. Excellent in the UK thoughWithin two minutes of opening the package the SIM was in my MiFi unit and activated. No fuss, extremely simple. 6GB for up to 90 days, as promised. It doesn't get much simpler, believe me, I've used other SIMs when travelling. No need to go through registration if you don't want, just hit the "Activate" buttonThe network connection is speedy and EE coverage is about as good as you'll get in the UK.Strangely, topping up with an extra 6GB for 90 days will cost more than this SIM so I'll keep buying SIMsThe blurb that comes up on the EE activation screen says the SIM is good for roaming in all EU countries so, at the time of writing, it's a good choice to take on holiday as well. All good!

Works perfectly with mobile wifi products, giving excellent UK coverage
I have purchased this product many times for use with my mobile wifi solution. Just plug it in, connect to the device over wifi from your mobile or laptop, wait for the EE activation page to pop up in a browser, and click on Activate. Note there is no need to register to use this card so ignore the Register button. Works perfectly providing brilliant coverage in the UK. Never had any problems with these cards... they always last as long as they say they do... eg the one I installed yesterday gave me 90 days and 5 hours. And the other card I have is a 24GB one that is meant to last a year and so far, its eleven months in, and its still ok, but nearing the limit. Highly recommended

Not what it says on the tin
Instructions say just insert and away you go (pretty much) but NO, inserted it into my new mobile router, all the lights came on to indicate 4G connection but totally unresponsive. After much faffing about, had to call EE and they said that SIM had NO preloaded data but should have come with some. They loaded it with 7Gb (bonus) and set up account. 5* to EE but not for the card as it's not what it says. Haven't used out on the road yet so will update review depending on how it works

Great for my recent holiday to the Scottish Highlands
Provided fantastic internet coverage whilst I was on holiday in a remote part of the Scottish Highlands. I placed the SIM card into a portable router device and I was online instantly. When my data runs out I will simply buy a replacement SIM card and throw away the expired one. Thanks for the fair pricing of this SIM card versus EE website.

Ok
Have bought this product from this seller multiple times and have been very pleased with it. Usually it gives me just what I require. However the last one I loaded only lasted for twenty days from 4th to 24th of Jan. Didn't even download anything. Just used it for looking things up. I suppose one poor one out of the number I have bought isn't too bad but since I don't think any of them have lasted the full ninety days I think I have to knock off a star. Will still keep buying them though until something better comes along.
