Yoga is a wonderful way to reduce stress, increase strength, tone muscle, cultivate flexibility, and improve overall health. Filmed on a lush, tranquil location overlooking the Pacific Ocean, these two 30-minute programs offer great variety for your practice. The Hatha session will relieve stress, increase flexibility and recharge circulation as it guides you step-by-step through a breakdown of static poses using the strap, belt or towel to aid in stretching. The flow session will build strength and stamina by taking postures from Ashtanga yoga and sequencing them into a simple, natural flow that aids in weight loss, tones muscle, improves balance and calms mental focus. These two diverse programs may be practiced individually but are also perfect to complement each other in the same day. Enjoy both sessions as they create breath awareness and foster clarity between your mind, body and spirit to help you realize your optimal potential.

ahhh so relaxing
This is a really great beginners workout. The moves are simple yet effective, relaxing yet the moves go deep into the muscles, stretching them gently and effectively. I already feel myself toning up after only 5 daily sessions. I have yet to use the second set of yoga moves as I am enjoying the first set so much. I have dappled with yoga a few years ago I consider myself a beginner, none of the moves are difficult. The 30 minute session is so relaxing it feels like it is finished after only a short while. The instructor is great the setting is beautiful. This is a bargain DVD.

Depends how unhealthy you are!
This DVD is easily to follow, well laid out with fairly slow precise commentary. As with AM/PM YOGA, it is marketed for beginners, but because of the style of yoga (flow yoga being more aerobic and harder) it is not for a complete beginner. That isn't to say you shouldn't give it a go though! Just be prepared to find some stances you won't be able to get to or hold, give it a go but don't over stretch to reach it. I would reccomend starting with AM/PM YOGA for a few weeks first.

Great foundation for learning yoga. Challenging enough for me
I bought this DVD some time ago. I have short muscles from cycling and not stretching. So I find this video challenging. Tamal Dodge is a super instructor. He is clear in his instruction, and encourages you to do hat you can. His manor is relaxing and kind. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn yoga.It may not be the best video if you are looking for a fast pasted sweaty flow.Contains two 30-min workouts. I find they compliment a morning and evening routine.I've since bought his other two videos. And find them all fantastic. The routines and focus vary enough for me to feel like they are all worth doing each week.I hope with these videos my tight muscles will be a thing of the past.Thank you 😀

Not for a begginers
Nice but I don't think its for begginers also It is nice when the voice is actually tellin with side of the body is done its most of the time oposite if you need to look at the screen can be confusing bor a beginner.

Fantastic!
Fantastic DVD. As a total newcomer to yoga, I have to say Tamal Dodge is a very good instructor. The instructions are clear, and I like that there are modifications where needed if you have short hamstrings so you don't end up hurting yourself. The Hatha section has been great as a beginner - easy enough for any level to follow. The Flow section however, I tried, but I couldn't complete it, I found it too difficult for me at the moment. I will come back to it though once my strength and flexibility has improved a little. Will definitely be looking out for more Tamal Dodge DVD's in the future. This has been a great introduction to yoga - I always feel so relaxed afterwards!

Calming perfection
I am no yogi but I have been interested in it for a while, watching dvd's and online tutorials. This is the first time I've actually been able to practice as the instructor is knowledgeable and talks you gently though each movement, often explaining its benefits to the body. Though there is a voiceover through much of the program it's never intrusive as the instructors voice is very soothing. The back & groin pain I experienced before starting this program has practically disappeared and just as crucially I am more relaxed & at ease.

Poor quality DVD
The DVD keeps stopping and turning itself off part way through the exercise programme. Really frustrating.

Good-ish for beginners
I have never done yoga before and will admit I am not very fit so I wanted something to ease me into yoga. The Hatha section was good for a beginner like myself, I struggled of course but was able to follow the moves and keep my balance even if I couldn't push my body as much as I'd like. The Flow section however I would not say is for beginners. I found it extremely difficult, there was a lot of pressure on my wrists and I found the transitions between moves too fast. But overall I am happy with the DVD for the cost. I will continue to practise and hopefully the Flow section won't be so hard as time goes on.
