Solid buy. Good stable performance at a cracking price.
Very compact and neat devices. Only been using for 24 hours now but so far they are very stable. I have been monitoring the ping response using a network monitor and ping varies between 3ms and 8ms but there have been no disconnections.I had to experiment a bit to get the best speeds. On one side the room I could only get 45Mb but moving to the other side and I get 80Mb. The 2 units are on opposite ends of a 1930's flat so you might get even better. When I put them in the same room very close to each other I was getting almost 150Mb but who would need them in the same room? However for my needs the speed is enough, I was more concerned about packet loss and high latency which these dont seem to suffer from. I tested this using iPerf and WinMTR inside my network.I did consider buying more expensive units that use MIMO (these use SISO) but I read too many reviews for various MIMO units that complained about them not being stable enough. What use is speed without stability? In the attached image you can see ping repsonse is between 3ms and 8ms over time. I think that quite decent and acceptable for my needs.UPDATE - after a month of use: I have also now added a speedtest screenshot. I have 150Mb up and down Hyperoptic service. These let me use half of that which although is not perfect is close enough for me. In the end I did try more expensive (more than double the price) 1200Mbs Netgear MIMO units to see if I could get closer to 150Mb and the Netgear units were actually slower! The most they would achieve is 50Mbs and the pings were all over the place. So my original assumption proved to be correct, for old wiring like I have to deal with these top speed SISO units are more stable.

Perfect way to share broadband around the house (We use it with XBox Live)
No more long cables winding their way up the stairs to the teenagers' rooms!Although it is believed otherwise, and I can only speak for us, this device DOES work from the ring main downstairs to the separate ring main upstairs. plug the cable into the router and the socket into the wall, then in the other room simply plug it in and connect the other end of the cable - simplicity itself. No complex setup as this works staright out of the box. Clear indicators on the unit and can be left on all the time due to it's low power consumption but that is a personal preference and can happily be switched off as and when you want without any problems or reconnection issues. We live in a small place, so may be different in a larger home with more distance but I should imagine this would be great for other uses too, such as a shed or a server in the loft if you felt like it.Definitely recommended - in fact I went on to buy another item by the same company as was so impressed with this.

Low cost wifi extension
These power line extenders work well when set up correctly however there are no sensible instructions included with the package you receive and I had to look online for the information necessary to make them work. You get a few pages of warranty info and legal bumf but no instructions othe than a tiny one sided piece of paper. My units did not work out of the box and I had to do a factory reset - no problem if they tell you how! The other advice is to check the wiring circuitry you intend to use to make sure all on the same loop. You can do this by plugging lamps into each socket and then flipping the fuse. If they all go out then good chance they are on the same ring and will work. The actual units are small but the cables provided are very short. I managed with them but many purchasers will need to buy longer connection cables. I can now watch catch up on my smart TV without the internet signal constantly dropping out! Good product let down by lack of instruction manual and short cables.

Totally effective, easy to instal and superb value
I had been having a bit of trouble getting decent speeds from my wi-fi between the ground floor router at the from of the house and the computer in the upstairs back bedroom. These powerline devices were recommended by a computer magazine, so I thought it safe to try something new. Basically, these are mains plugs with ethernet terminations which plug into your router at one end and your computer at the other end, turning your mains cable into a giant ethernet cable. It was so easy!! I plugged them in, windows 10 immediately spotted then and made them the default device, and they've worked perfectly ever since. They are also solidly made, and fit nicely into a single mains socket. I wish I'd done this three years ago - though they would then have been far more expensive! In summary, totally effective and superb value.

Only works half the time...
The product is great when it works. I am upstairs in my house and have a shoddy wifi signal. I was hoping this would solve the issue, but it hasn't. It will worm some days, other days it will just keep blinking. Kept using different outlets but no results...

Excellent item, well recommended and easy to use.
Bought these to replace a pair of older, 500mbps version, devices. No hassle at all setting up, pretty much plug and play. I've tried them in a number of sockets around the house and the speed is great.A lot less hassle than wifi extenders, or wireless bridges, and far less complicated to use, and its simple to add more to your network to extend their reach.I have added a switch at the client end adaptor, so we are able to have connection throughout the house with minimal hassle.

If different breaker speed sucks
Works on different breaker However the speed is not impressive at all. Connected and speed 1Gb/s has been shown when i tried copy file from one computer to another ended up with 5 Mb/s so the only use I have for it is as printer connection..
