Multiregion Out of the Box
Setup was as easy as unpack, plug in supplied SCART at player and set, and connect to mains. At the player end it has component connectors rather than a SCART lead, so that option is easy if your set supports it.I then tried it with a Region 1 DVD, and it "just worked". Similarly when I followed up with an R2 disc. It's also got the best blacks I've seen from a DVD (or Bluray) player. So it does what I chose this model for, and does it well. It's also got a nice undocumented feature where if you press Stop, then Off without removing the disc it boots up and starts playing directly from where you stopped it without any need to go through introduction stuff and Copywrong statements again, or search for your chapter point.I'm not totally happy with the remote control though, because it's not as positive in its button presses as I'd like. Also I did manage to over-heat it and make it skip by spending 8 hours binge-watching Star Trek:Deep Space 9 episodes. It cooled down after spending an hour "off" though.

Value for money
Does what is says and plays DVDs from multiple Regions. I'm not sure if it's just my particular player, but it does make a juddering sound when first stopping and starting discs. Intuitively this doesn't seem right, but (so far) the noise makes no different whatsoever to how the player performs. The signal from the remote control doesn't work about 33% of the time and buttons require pressing a couple of times to get the required result when this happens. But overall I think this little number is good value for money.

This multi-region DVD player is fantastic. I have a Region 2 (UK/Europe) DVD player which plays most Region 2 DVDs, but for some DVDs it only plays the first TV episode on each disk. I have another multi-region DVD player which plays disks from different regions, but rejects about 1/3 of the DVDs that I put into it without any obvious pattern or reason. So I wasn't very hopeful when I bought the LG DP132. But since I got it a couple of weeks ago I have tried a mixture of more than 30 Region 1 (US) and Region 2 (UK/Europe) DVDs and the LG DP132 has played every disk perfectly. Excellent value and works really well.

great multi region player
This is a great small dvd player ,looks larger in the picture but nice and compact ,easy to connect only scart so be careful no hmdi but if this no problem it's great easy to use and plays region 1 which is what I wanted it for without any problem at the price I think it's a bargain.

multi region DVD player
As I have a large collection of DVD's from the States as well as British therefore a multi region player was of the essence. This one fitted the bill exactly and I can now watch my collections once again.Thank you for excellent service and good quality, value for money.

No hdmi output
Good dad player for all regions but there is 2 things wrong I found. NO HDMI OUTPUT being the biggest one. The other is no zoom function, but I can't get everything. Good value for the price though

Good multi region DVD - needs a T.V. with a scart connector
Like recordable dvd players- multi region players are hard to find, perhaps they are a bit old fashioned, perhaps the manufactures want to cramp our style. Anyway this plays region 1 and 2 dvds and it is a good quiet little unit. You will need a scart lead on your T.V. - another 'old fashion' item. Although the unit doesn't have a scart connection just 3 jack plug points.Supplier was very quick and all round recommended
