Art Deco Upholstery Fabric - Sold by The metre - 140cm Width

A high quality fabric which has been part of a transformation of my battered old couch. I'm delighted with the combination of complex patterns and strong yet muted colours, which look great, as I'd hoped. Feels like it will be hard-wearing but has no coarseness to it at all.

Was very pleased with this fabric. Good quality. I used it to make a cover for the chair in my office at home, and the multi colours blend with my colour scheme. Looks far nicer than plain black or grey office furniture.

The design of this fabric is really different. Although it’s not as brightly coloured as I thought it would be. Saying that it is nice. I bought it to cover Sv footstool. I’d never done anything like this before. The fabric isn’t too thick but unfortunately frays quite badly. Once I’d got used to this problem it was manageable. And the finished footstool looks really good for a beginner.

Lovely material but would of preferred it to be thicker as was using it to reupholster a stool. But it worked okay although dont think it will last that long. Would make a good curtain material.

Thank you to everyone who answered my question about washing the fabric. I washed a small square at 30C and it did shrink (in one direction only) but otherwise it's fine. Glad I washed it before I made the loose seat covers. Now, once made, the covers will not only be removable but washable! And they'll still fit when they are put back on. The only reason I haven't put 5 stars is I haven't made the covers yet and don't know how easy it will be to work with nor do I know how hardwearing it will be, especially on the front seats of the motor caravan. So far would recommend it's purchase.
