Good colour and coverage
I use Lush Henna on my hair to enable me to get a nice long lasting colour without frying my hair, but it's hard to get a really bright result without resorting to peroxide based dyes. Thought I would try something from the Fudge range and was pleasantly surprised. It's important to remember that this doesn't come with gloves, so make sure you find some elsewhere because this stains very quickly. Also a very good idea to use Vaseline around the hairline to avoid getting a pink face. I washed and towel dried my hairs first, then I used a brush and tint bowl to apply it to the roots because it doesn't have an applicator nozzle. I just ran it through the rest of my hair. I have quite long and very thick hair, and one bottle was enough. If your hair is longer then you might need a second bottle. Then I applied it through to the ends, piled it up and left it for about half an hour.It takes a good while to rinse out, but then you shampoo and condition your hair as normal. The result was a beautiful rich red colour with pink undertones. If you used this over peroxided hair I'm sure the result would be truly stunning, but even over my henna it looks great. The product doesn't last very long (5 washes will fade it), but I'm still very impressed with the result with no ammonia or peroxide. Will definitely be buying again.

Good product
I bought this to put over the length of my hair whenever I do my roots with my permanent colour. I am a natural brunette but like my hair a dark ruby red. I used RED CORVETTE and it gives the hair a lovely shine and brightens the colour. This is a stain, not a hair dye in the traditional sense. There is no ammonia or peroxide, it will wash out but wont damage your hair. For this reason I put it on dry hair and left it to dry in before going to bed. I slept on a towel to protect my pillow but was surprised to see only a little had rubbed off during the night. It will stain anything it touches so get a friend to help you apply it and wipe it off if straight away if it goes on your forehead/neck etc. I washed until the water ran fairly clear then styled as usual. The colour is lovely but as my hair is dark I think I will go for cherry bomb red next so the red tones are brighter. Like all red hair colours it needs regular topping up as the colour will fade. My hair is just below my shoulders and really thick however I still had a quarter of a tube left which I mix with conditioner and leave over night whenever it needs brightening up. For those of you with damaged hair I would definitely recommend TRESemmé Restructuring Deep Conditioning Treatment Masque - 500ml After trying loads of different products this was the the only thing that really restored my hair after it was destroyed by a incompetent hairdresser and a bowl of bleach.Overall great product, amazing variety of colours, I would definitely recommend. :)

Cherry Bomb is very cherry indeed
Having dyed my hair bright red for the past 5 years, I have finally found my go-to colorant. I'd be interested to know how much experience with achieving and maintaining red hair the negative reviewers have, since those are integral to preserving color as much as the quality of the product itself. The advantages that this product can boast are high intensity vibrant color, a very nice, gel-like consistency which makes application and even coverage easy and lack of damage to the hair; no excuses to allow the color to fade! You can mix colors for your perfect shade and my hair is silky, shiny and smells delicious. The stains were easily removed with baby wipes or some heavily diluted washing up liquid. If you are serious about keeping your locks luminous, remember to wash only in cold water, invest in a sulphate-free color safe shampoo and conditioner (preferably color-depositing) and don't over-do it. Frequent washing and heat-styling will fade your color and if your hair is pre-lightened - while your color will be shocking - the hair is more porous and will take several applications to build up a more intense color. Dry shampoo is your new best friend. Don't value your bedding or towels too much because they will suffer! Red hair is hard work, this is not the product for you if you haven't done your research about protecting it.Most of all, be prepared to answer endless questions about your new red hair routine - if I had a penny for every time I've been stopped in the street, I'd be a billionaire by now!

Very nice.
For reference, my hair is light golden blonde on the bottom layer and platinum blonde on the top layers. I only applied this (Pink Moon) on the bottom layers that are slightly darker and I have to say it came up VERY well. I left mine on for two hours rather than following the instructions and ended up with a gorgeous hot pink colour. It wasn't patchy or streaky. Pardon the pun, but I was over the moon with it.In terms of lasting power - overall it lasted a week and a half and the real fading began at the second wash - BUT I quite typically was notified of a job interview a week after putting this colour in, so I washed my hair two or three extra times to fade it out in time for that. It would've lasted two weeks to two and a half weeks otherwise. Not ideal, but I love the colour enough to continue to use it. It faded in a pretty way, it never turned an ugly shade, just went down from hot pink to baby pink, to pastel pink and back to blonde with no strange staining left at all.
