It worked but, it was not pleasant to use and took a fair amount of effort to remove the grease and then wash off. When Manista was introduced, at least 25 or more years ago, I almost couldn't believe how good it was at shifting oily grime from my hands and often as not, from my clothes. It is very effective, washes off easily and is pleasantly scented. Not only that, my hands don't feel like they've been cleaned in turps. The addition of polythene granules was quite inspired. This is the product of choice as far as I'm concerned. Nowadays though, like most car mechanics, I tend to wear vinyl or nitrile gloves because they are cheap, disposable and certainly thin enough to feel what you are doing in practically most cases. However, there is always a pack of Manista under the kitchen sink for the few times I forget the gloves (or can't be bothered more like). Review: Degreases and moisturises really well - I work on cars/bikes as a hobby and some days need to clean hands 4 or 5 times. I’ve used this product for years and rate it as excellent.
