Elegant heavy winter coat, with excellent, non-bulky fit, and ample storage pockets. Unlike other SCOTTeVEST products, however, there were no pen pockets and some storage pockets were difficult to reach. The zipper is not a two way zipper, which means that the coat is constricting when sitting down. The hood extends outward, providing excellent rain shielding without the use of an additional visor, however the collar flaps are very high and stiff and chaffed my neck with hood down or up. I sadly returned the coat due to the aforementioned issues. I have several other SCOTTeVEST products (lightweight vests, Cloe hoodie) and absolutely love them. If they can fix the issues, i would purchase version 2.0 of this coat for winter use in colder climates.

This is a GORGEOUS jacket. Very well made and the amount of hidden pockets it provides is truly amazing. Unfortunately the jacket is too warm for my travel needs. If someone is traveling to a cold desination, this would be the PERFECT jacket. If SCOTTeVest were able to create this jacket in a lightweight version, it would be the ultimate travel jacket for moderate climates.

I own a couple of Scott-e-vest jackets because I love all the pockets and the pockets are easy to access.This jacket misses the mark. Yes, there are tons is pockets but somehow it's really hard to get things in/out of the pockets. The 2pockets near the chest area has a zipper on the side and Velcro on the top so you can secure your items. Well, I like to put my keys there but it's so hard to get it opened as you need to open the Velcro then the zipper. Weird.The most annoying thing is the collar. It just sticks out even when the hood is down and you can't really fold it down and keep it down .I do like the length. It covers my butt which is perfect.

Love this coat. huge pockets with zippers make everything secure. Very warm. I wore it in Paris in the rain and stayed warm and dry. The only complaint would be that the hood is a little bit big. If fell down over my eyes and I had to fold it to keep it from blocking my vision. Great for tucking away small lenses and gadgets safely out of sight. Perfect for photographers.

I can not wait to use this on my upcoming travel. I've been using it since I got it and haven't been carrying a purse at all because of all the pockets. Of course, I'll have to do something different once it warms up but right now it is perfect! They say it runs small and it does...I went up one size and that is perfect...especially if you're going to layer like I am. Worth the money!

I love the idea of this coat. I bought an XL and it fit a little small across the front. But the sleeves were a little long and the collar was a bit bulky, couldn't fold it down comfortably. But the pockets are great, had room for my cell phone, my CDL, my debit card, a lipstick, package of kleenex, pair of readers, and even my wine glass (on wine tour)! Overall it is a great coat and I love it!

Love it - very good design and look. The pockets are great. Expect to use it very often so, will update the review if the materials/jacket underperforms.

Nice jacket fits me like a sausage. There would be no room for anything. Tried to find a store to try for fit but the Palo Alto Store didn’t really have any stock except a few vests. Disappointing!
