Review: CJRB Lago - This is my second folding knife after picking up a Civivi Elementum a few years ago. I have enjoyed the Elementum both for occasional cutting and fidgetability. I didn't necessarily need a second knife, but went for the Lago when it was deeply discounted for Black Friday. The Lago is a larger knife which is more substantial in the hand but more bulky in the pocket - also it is legal to carry around in a few less states. The Lago uses a button lock which is easier to operate than the Elementum's liner lock. The Lago's blade can be deployed in three ways: flipper tab, thumb hole, and by holding the button and just flicking out. I find the flipper tab to be a bit unnecessary with the other two options, but some folks might like to have it as a fidgeting option. Everything on the knife feels high quality. The action was great and the blade was sharp out of the box. The shape of the blade appears a bit more aggressive than the Elementum, but is still very utilitarian and usable. The Lago has a flat grind (as opposed to the Elementum's hollow grind) and has a more substantial choil which is great for choking up on the blade for precise cuts. Overall, I consider the Lago to be another winner. If you want something a little larger with a button lock and thumb hole, a good budget steel on the blade, and like the blade shape, I don't think you can go wrong with it. Also check out the CJRB Pyrite-Alt which is a bit smaller, has steel scales, and no flipper tab.
Review: Sturdy work knife. - This was the work knife i was looking for! Handle is comfortable, g10 feels great in the hand, the button lock hasn't failed yet. Thumb hole is comfortable for thumb or reverse flick opening, snappy. Flipper is a little lighter, but reliable, honestly i hardly the flipper tab. If your hand is a bit larger, this will be comfortable. I have abused the blade cutting all kinds of materials, and it's still sharp, really liking the material, easy to sharpen and retains the edge. I would purchase again as well as an upscaled model if they came out with it!

## Features

- 【AR-RPM9 POWDER STEEL】: The Blade is made from our proprietary AR-RPM9 which gives it exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance so your blade will stay sharp longer and sharpen up quickly with a few passes on a stone.
- 【SAFETY BUTTON LOCK】: With all the Button Lock love that we have seen over the last year we are very happy to offer the Lago with a button lock system that we have made more robust, allowing for heavier use and greater overall durability while still remaining smooth, easy, and safe to operate all while offering a strong lockup that will satisfy any user.
- 【G10 HANDLES】: The Lago features a set of heavily textured G10 scales set on full steel liners, giving it exceptional grip and rigidity in hand. The rounded shape of the handle allows a comfortable fit in even the largest hands or while wearing thick gloves.
- 【DEEP-CARRY POCKET CLIP】: Comfortable carry is a huge part of the Lago’s design, this knife features a two-position deep-carry pocket clip that disappears in any pants pocket and firmly affixes the knife in place.
- 【BRAND NEW PACKAGING】：New packages, including a nylon bag and a high quality box, which will be very suitable as a gift for man ,woman, festivals.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great knife, but button lock mechanism failed
*by A***R on February 10, 2023*

First of all, this is a great knife, and I'm pretty sure the lock mechanism failure was only my unit. Pros: Sharp factory edge Centered blade (until the lock failed, then there was a lot of play) Recessed button Multiple deployment options Light for its size G10 is grippy Deep carry pocket clip Has a good sharpening choil Minimal fasteners Decent ergos Cons: Flipper tab didn't feel grippy enough; gimping on the tab wasn't sharp enough for me. Gimping on the top of the blade was not grippy Inner deployment hole was sharp for the thumb flick (or maybe I'm just a wimp) This was my first button lock, so I don't know how to compare the button action. The button travel was short to unlock, but I'm not sure if that's a flaw that threw the button off its path. The attached pic shows the button is crooked and not in its hole in the opposite inner scale. I hope this was just my unit. I also didn't think loctite should have been an option, so I didn't put any.
