I’m forever making holes on the side of the heels. Even very expensive ones** A: I purchased it for a tear in a cream leather foot-stool and I don't personally think it was all that easy to use, very fiddly. It did seal the split from tearing any further but it didn't blend in made the tear more obvious - A year later I have had it professionally repaired. In answer to your question; It is a rubber solution and I would think it would thicken the area and it may rub on your foot?? I would buy cheap multi packs of socks and throw them out as soon as a hole appears. **Q: According to google, you can use this on your belt to stop the holes from tearing, which is what I'm looking for....has anyone tried it?** A: Have only used on leather furniture which worked really well. Best thing to use is the metal surround holes which usually come with a hole punch for belts. **Q: I have some leggings where the vinyl coating has peeled off. They are polyester with vinyl coating, can this glue be used to glue the vinyl back?** A: I should think that it will work, lay the leggings vinyl side down on a plastic bag, spread the glue on the poly facing side of the vinyl on using an old credit card etc stick immediately and put another plastic bag on top keeping the material flat no creases, you have a few minutes to adjust. Leave a heavy book on top, check 24 hours later. Watch out if its too thick it'll bleed through the material!. Only cold wash / by hand in future. Cut up an old pair and applied patches using this and they’re perfect! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars a very useful product...but on a few fabrics it does tend to leave a bright yellow gluey mark...... *by A***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 August 2020* This is a Quality product as it does what it says i.e Bonds extremely well turning from liquid to a glue like state and 95% of the time the liquid wipes away very easily and does'nt leave a mark on the fabric or fibre even if you spill abit of it on the fabric/fibre surrounding it it even if you get it on your finger/hand it comes off without any problem.... i did use a small amount of it to bond fabric on a cream coloured designer waistcoat of mine the back of which was made of viscose it worked particularly well however sadly....... i found that it left a particularly visable brightish gluely biege/yellow mark which did not blend in with the cream colour of the viscose materail on the waistcoat and the exact same thing happened on a stone/biege wool zip jacket of mine even though it did bond very well........so i will have to put a patch of a very similar/same colour as the jacket over these visable marks not"the end of the world"but dissapointing none the less............another minor quibble(though nothing to do with the quality of the liquid in the bottle)is the bottles black plastic lid(which comes in two bits)i thought you could squeeze the liquid through the unscrewable lid it and when you look at it it appears that you can but this is'nt the case at all....... and you have to unscrew the lid on the bottle to get access to the liquid inside it...this means that whilst using the liquid there is the potential/real possibility of easily knocking the whole bottle over accidently wasting some if not all of the precious liquid contents inside.......which wood be very annoying in more than one respect as the quality of the tear mender liquid inside the bottle is undeniable......if this lid/s was altered slightly and you could easily squeeze the liquid through it without having to unscrew the lid then so be it as prevention is better than cure............. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Best on The Market *by N***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 March 2021* I was looking for the best fabric glue on the market. The seam of an outdoor beanbag was continuously being breached by polystyrene beans. I was tempted to throw the beanbag out believing it was not mendable as it is used by my daughter as a crash mat. Totally delighted with this product after numerous fails of other glues. It helps to peg or clamp the fabric together during adhesion but once set is both transparent, strong and flexible.
