Connection via Ethernet from my SKY modem/router, enabled VPN client on device (Mullvad), any that supports Wireguard or OVPN (will be slower though) will do and connected to my ASUS router via Ethernet & Bob's your uncle, it works.Speeds from 250 MB/s (using the Asus as theWiFi router) via WiFi up to 450 MB/s via Ethernet.
