This product does what it's supposed to do and does it well. It provides you with a balanced, high dose of vitamin D & Vitamin K. This makes it a very affordable way to get the Vitamin D & K you need to protect your health. I take two a week personally. It's important to take Vitamin K along with Vitamin D, as Vitamin K has a powerful synergistic effect on Vitamin D. It stops calcium accumulating in your blood and arteries, and gets the calcium into your bones, where it's needed. Vitamin D is tremendously important for a strong immune system, perhaps the most important nutrient of all in that regard. It has powerful anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer properties, the list goes on and on. You can do your own research in that regard. Suffice to say, this supplement is an essential part of my daily supplementation to keep my body healthy. Everybody should be getting extra Vitamin D, especially in the winter months, but even all year round is a good idea to help keep your immune system strong and this formulations is one of the better ones on the market.

I was told by my Doctor (a naturopath) That my vitamin d levels were too low, and that this extra strong version would be the quickest way to restore them to normal, The Metabolic Maintenance brand is the exact match to what he recommended, but was not in stock in his office. Be careful as these vitamins can be toxic if taken without docs knowing. Iv you are experienced it’s great to find a high dose

I took this *almost* daily for three months. I often took it alongside a scoop of Seeking Health magnesium dissolved in kombucha to boost absorption. My levels went from low 20s to low 70s during this time. It works!My levels plummeted on the last two brands I tried so I’m glad this one works. I attribute my decline partly to having to take Tamoxifen for breast cancer - my doctors say it can affect vitamin d levels. , I was taking 10,000 IU of Vitamin D with both previous brands - including K2 - seems like it should have worked. I also have two VDR-taq snps so I have to supplement to be at optimum levels.I also think the added magnesium is helping with absorption. I dissolve one scoop of Seeking Health magnesium malate in some kombucha (it Masks the horrible flavor of the mag) and chug it down with my vitamin d pill. After a year of decline, my levels are finally rising!

Great price and a good product..

This products works! Afters years of using 5000 and 10,000 IU of Vit D I finally got my level to 81 ng/mL.I started at 26 ng/ml. In Sept of 2019 I was at 81 ng/mL . I started taking this 25,000 IU in Sept and in Dec my level was 107 ng/mL. . I took the pill every day for about a month and then I started taking it about three times a week. Now that I got my level to where my doctor wants it, I will take it about two times a week to maintain my level. My next blood test is due in Feb 2020 so I can see if twice a week will maintain my levels and make an adjustment if not. I am 78 years old and between home, food shopping and the gym, I don't get much sun.
