Great entertainment! Wobbly plane.
My 8 year old nephew (currently) wants to be a pilot, so I decided to get him something plane related for Christmas. I thought a remote controlled plane might be excessive but decided to have a look. The price of this one made me slightly dubious (it was £25 when I bought it), but I managed my expectations and went ahead, the box says appropriate for 8 years and over. It was the most fun we had over Christmas! If you're hoping to do barrel rolls, loop-the-loops and anything reasonably coordinated, look elsewhere. But, if you want an 8 year old and an 11 year old chasing after it screaming, while you laugh so hard a bit of pee comes out, then this is the gift for you. Things of interest, or to note:1) The plane is hand launched, i.e. you have to throw it (gently), and landing involves switching the propeller off and letting it hit the floor.2) The front propeller is just for decoration (it spins freely, but isn't motorised), the power comes from two small propellers sitting between the two wings, where they are well protected.3) The plane is made of that toughened polystyrene type material, it's very light. It will survive as many crash landings as you like - it won't survive argumentative children.4) In flight, the plane kind of bobs along, it isn't a smooth flight. It's actually part of the plane's charm, and makes you think of those black and white films of early flight trials.5) The controls are going to be "up and down" (sort of), and left and right (very responsive).6) The plane battery charges from the remote control, so you can get longer use out of it than just one time then go home. Also, the battery seemed to last way longer than advertised.My nephew couldn't wait to take his plane to show is grandfather, and everyone thought it was the most entertaining gift. So, if you want something entertaining to play with (we all had a go, it was great), this is awesome. If you want something that is going to behave like a real plane, you're going to have to splash more cash.

Brilliant toy aeroplane - just wait for the winds to die down.
brilliant aeroplane - bought for our 5 year old son, and he loves it. He can fly it too, so absolutely fantastic toy. Not good in windy weather, but not many toy aeroplanes will be. Really good fun for kids and adults.

A sturdy, reliable, small and powerful little plane.
This was liked very much on amazon, so I purchased it and within 3 days (the original was 4) it came to my door, and it charges quickly. in 12-13 minutes I took it out to fly, it ALMOST flew like a dream. It is not the best in high winds, but if you’re experienced you could handle it fairly well in low winds. It was very sturdy but a disaster if a dog attacks it, you can fly it up to 2-3 meters high and you can aim down and crash it but it won’t break. I loved me and my dad flying it and is good for starters to fly, Would recommend.

Excellent little plane, but avoid using on windy days. Limited on the tricks it can do as it is only a starter model, but cant complain for the price,

Great fun flying for the price. Quick tweak needed and it was flying straight and level. Can't beat a plane at this price. Great present for any age !
