SUPER VACUUM , IF YOU HAVE DOGS , HORSES , PETS WITH HAIR , PICKS EVERYTHING UP , CLEANS RIGHT UP TO THE EDGES , NO BAGS REQUIRED SO MONEY SAVED THERE.IT IS QUITE HEAVY TO MANOUVRE ON HARD FLOORS , BETTER ON CARPET , AND TAKES SOME GETTING USED TO , AS IT DOESNT GO IN STRAIGHT LINES DUE TO THE BALL , YOU HAVE TO ANGLE THE HANDLE LEFT AND RIGHT.HAVING SAID THAT IT IS THE MOST EXENSIVE HOOVER I HAVE PURCHASED IN 30 YEARS , BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY , I CANNNOT FAULT IT , WILL CERTAINLY BUY ANOTHER DYSON WHEN NEEDEDTHIS HOOVER HOOVER GETS 5 STARS ***********

Not easy to manoeuvre at all and handle is flimsy. Suction power is excellent and I like the fact that there is no filter to clean but it is big and bulky, heavy and flimsy. May be try the more recent model as you don’t really need that much suction power (unless suction is the most important thing for you of course, in which case go for it)

Got this on BlackFriday deals from the warehouse - saved a lot getting this during this deal (think I paid about 140) comes with the full 5 year warranty too - so very pleased. as expected box was damaged but product was in perfect condition - only gripe is is very heavy to move. I have been using a Henry for years - went around the same room with this and god.. it was half full in 10 mins!.

I decided to get rid of my previous vacuum cleaner which was very powerful until the filter was new, about 5 vacuuming. Then I had to vacuum the filter with my old vacuum cleaner after every cleaning day! It was very annoying and time consuming. So I decided to find a vacuum cleaner without a filter, which is genius if it really works.Despite all the bad or useless reviews here in Amazon I bought this vacuum cleaner and I am really glad that I did. First of all, somebody was complaining about packaging and broken nails - well, let me tell you it was packed as every other products, nicely and safely. Nothing wrong or challenging. It took about 10-15 minutes to unpack it and start vacuuming. Everything clicks and fits easily.It is indeed very powerful, brushes and cleans the carpet brilliantly even for the first time. You don't need to go over the same spot again and again. My carpets look like new after vacuuming. Very easy to manoeuvre it. Not heavier than other proper, good built vacuum cleaner. It vacuums very close to the wall and I haven't got any problem with bigger pieces, bread crumbs or even lego pieces! It picks up everything! There is a storage place on the machine where you can keep the 2 most important tools. They don't fall off at all. If you need to change the tools it is so easy, just push the button and it releases the tool and can swap for the next one. I do it most of the time for hard to reach places, corners, under furniture, stairs or for shelves. And this is my favourite part - dusting. (I hate cleaning, but with this vacuum cleaner it is so easy!) There is a tool with a little oval brush which can be used for dusting. It is just as powerful to pick up the dust but not the bigger stuff. I use it for dusting the built lego creations and it works like a dream. I was so fed up trying to dust these stuff because the other dusters either ruined them or the threads of the duster is caught by the little bricks. Maybe I am alone with this problem, but I can imagine that it could be useful in so many households for dusting nicknacks, books, computers, printers or the perfumes/face creams etc whatever you keep on the shelf.When I finish cleaning it stays in a stable upright position.Yes, that is right that the first time I had to empty the bin 2 or 3 times, because it picks up more dust than the previous vacuum cleaner, but honestly it is just the same method than any other bagless vacuum cleaner I used to have. Push the button, shake a little and maybe you have to touch your own dirt if it is stuck. Most of the time it falls out easily. We are talking about a 10 seconds action?! I use my swing bin, put the vacuum cleaner's bin deep in it, push the button, shake and close both bin quickly. So the dust do not come back. But as I said - all the other bagless vacuum cleaner works with the same method. If somebody find this part difficult then they need to buy a vacuum cleaner with a bag.Only one thing I would mention, which nobody has mentioned before and that is cleaning under the sofa or bed. However the vacuum cleaner comes with different tools but none of them suitable to clean under furniture. They all need a certain angle to keep the vacuum head flat on the floor. You need to buy a "Flat out floor tool' if you want to clean these places too. But because this issue is easily solvable I still think this is the best vacuum cleaner I've ever had and I wouldn't change it for anything else.

This was a toss-up between another Sebo as mine had finally died after over 10 years of use, a Shark, or this Dyson. Sadly, I opted for this.It vacuumed impressively for the first couple of times but since then it has degenerated in performance until I am effectively pushing dust and dirt around the house.The edge to edge cleaning is nonexistent and it leaves a good centemetre around the edges of carpets, I have to empty the bin after EVERY ROOM (and I don't live in a mansion!), and the contents of the dust-bin has to be pulled out by hand and leaves residual dust everywhere unless you do it outside which means dust flies everywhere and it's pretty disgusting to do, meaning you have to wash your hands after vacuuming every room.This has been a very expensive mistake and how I wish I'd gone for another good, reliable and easy to use sebo again. It's become a huge joke in my house how much I hate hoovering with this useless thing. It's very heavy, cumbersome and really difficult to manoeuvre. The ball adds nothing, just a gimmick and makes it impossible to hoover under furniture.The tools are clunky and getting the hose back in after use is ridiculously fiddly and always feels like its about to break (the sebo was SO easy to go from upright to tools, and no I don't work for them!)Vacuuming on hard floors is so hard as without the rollers moving it weighs a ton and just pushes anything bigger than dust around. I have just spend 5 minutes trying to hoover up a tiny feather from a pillow and am so cross I came to write this review two years after buying it!Massively disappointed and wouldn't buy any Dyson product again nor would I recommend it. How I wish I'd gone with another good old sebo.
