Review: Good Value.. So Far! - I was relieved to find these RGB LEDs worked perfectly out of the box. They were easy to set up and the remote works flawlessly. I used the included double-sided tape which has worked so far. If, or when, it fails, I'll just replace with some 3M. I like these much better than the rechargeable ones since I don't have to hassle with battery life and recharging. I don't understand the complaints about the light intensity. It has intensity settings on the remote and they can get pretty bright! I love the options for extending the length between lights using the extension wires or alternatively hooking them together without the extensions. Very convenient! Also love the little wire anchors. Although I didn't use them, I may later. Also like the slim profile and light spread of illumination. They throw light well and colors are vibrant. I was trying to find something negative about these lights but, honestly, for the price, the value is very good. Maybe I lucked out with the set I got! Will likely order additional sets..
Review: Great & Inexpensive option for background lighting for youtube videos - Inexpensive option for background lighting for youtube videos. I had to set up an acceptable 'studio' scene for youtube videos, including some background color to make the scene look nice. I got these, installed them and they work great. Comes with mounting hardware. Not the brightest, but the colors they create are saturated enough and sufficient for adding some accent color to the background of a video. Probably can use them for a lot of other photography and video uses. Limited by being plug-ins, but for a fixed scene, who wants to worry about video lights AND background lights? My main videos lights are powered by rechargable batteries (but are thankfully long lasting), but the backgroudn light is plugged in, making it very quick for me to set up my scene for recording. I am using a key & fill lights, and will experiement with a halo light. Do not want to go too bananas since I am shooting on a Logitech Brio 4k webcam (video and colors not quite as good but almost as good as the Insta360 Link 2C but with a wider field of view which I prefer) Hint: turn off the other lights in your room. You get far brighter colors and better video if you control the light. Recording with OBS, which allows you to monitor while filming.

**Q: can the remote control 2 different set of lights?**
A: I would say yes. Even though I only have the one set, these companies typically always use the same wavelength.

**Q: Can i use 2 of the lights or it has to be all three**
A: Sure, you would just plug 1 other light into the first one. The work as a chain.

**Q: Can someone tell me the name of the app? I accidentally threw away the booklet**
A: They are not Wi-Fi compatible even though it says they are.

**Q: Do these "remember" the last setting if power is interrupted and do they automatically come back on when power is restored?**
A: You set the color pattern and mode, so if there turned off, when you turn them back on the settings remain the same.  We did have a power surge once after I installed these, they did not come back on , I had to turn them back on. I really like these lights though and would recommend them.

Inexpensive option for background lighting for youtube videos. I had to set up an acceptable 'studio' scene for youtube videos, including some background color to make the scene look nice. I got these, installed them and they work great. Comes with mounting hardware. I bought these to put on a 6-shelf bookshelf and overall, they serve the purpose. They were easy to put up and they do come with some extra wires, but I ended up not needing them. I am a little disappointed with most of the colors. I don't feel that they are very vibrant. The red, green and blue lights are great but I was hoping for hot pink and/or purple, and the options on this remote are definitely lacking. I will also say that the remote is not super responsive. I have to push the buttons multiple times to get it to do what I want. However, for the price and ease of use, I will keep them and make it work.
