I have a washbasin and a mini washing machine and this detergent has been perfect for them. It's incredibly good at getting bloodstains and soot out (can't vouch for food/oil stains, though). I just fill my basin with cold water, add a little bit of the detergent, and let clothes soak overnight and they are stain-free the next day. Now, while it's unscented, it does kind of have a smell. I think it's impossible to have something truly be "scentless." Just know it doesn't smell flowery or linen-y or whatever, it's just kinda neutral/bleh, but only if you stick your nose right in it.
